MarkSimcoeon 16/08/2017 23:25Loved our stay! Thanks Jonathan- we really appreciated that check in bottle of Red. Lindsey, and Savannah Rose too!! The restaurant staff were excellent. VIP entrance much appreciated. Room was quiet considering it there was a party going on - Friday night!! And we won’t forget the parking. Drake store is awesome! We picked up a few things before having brunch and heading out. Thanks again. Lori B

All staff we encountered went out of their way to make us comfortable, starting with Savannah at the front desk who was so helpful and friendly. Breakfast in the restaurant is delicious, and the room was very comfortable although the bathroom arrangements take some getting used to - don't expect much privacy in the "den" rooms. We'd definitely stay here again!

Annie Don 29/07/2017 03:52This is by far the BEST hotel I've even been! Also received an amazing upgrade... that made my day! The staff, the food..everything is perfect! Highly recommend it! Jonathan the Guest Service Manager is awesome...so is all the staff. The decoration is also very unique and beautiful. It's my home away from home when going to Toronto.
Amazing & wonderful experience at The Drake
Sando99on 11/07/2017 15:19I was in Toronto for business and got lucky by stumbling upon The Drake - no idea what I was in for. Super hip, really fun and customer service over the top - I am not exactly a hipster at 58 but the staff (who are incredible hip and beautiful) could care less - it was almost family like in their kindness and welcoming approach to me. Being on the road for work, nothing is better then that. They even offered me a free breakfast becasue - well i do not know why actually, so thank you to Jonathan and Jullian and all the staff for making my stay in Toronto so enjoyable - I now want to come back for more work so I can stay there again

Favourite hotel ever
MichaelL19712014on 07/07/2017 22:21Our second stay at this hotel and it is just perfect.
The Good.
1. The location in Queen Street West is at the heart of a great neighbourhood with bars, cafes and restaurants nearby and public transport via bus and team outside the front door. Even a taxi to the city centre only cost between $10-15.
2. The rooms are not massive but are brilliantly designed and have everything you need. There is free WiFi, a mini bar and lots of other stuff.
3. The bathrooms are part of the rooms and have great showers and free toiletries. They are so well laid out.
4. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. They were happy to take cases to the room and a nice touches the free sparkling wine waiting for us when we arrived along with the scary doll.
5. In terms of the rest of the hotel, There is a sky bar and another bar on the ground floor serving food as well as a cafe. We had room service and sushi in the bar along with a few cocktails and all were good. Free coffee was available months mornings.
The Bad.
1. There is no lift so access is limited although staff are happy to help with bags.
2. The Sky Bar was being used for a private function on one night which meant we could not use it.
Overall
Probably my favourite hotel anywhere and will definitely return when back in Toronto.
