Amazing hotel, would highly recommend!

Wow, where do I start? What an amazing hotel! I have just arrived back from a week at this hotel and it is honestly the best hotel I have ever stayed at. As soon as we arrived we were handed a glass of prosecco, which was a lovely touch. The reception area is spotless and immediately we knew we had made the right choice.

The location is absolutely perfect. A short walk away from the busy Veronica's strip, bars and restaurants and also a short walk away from the beach. Siam water park is about a 5 minute taxi ride and so is the local monkey zoo.

The hotel room was lovely and spacious. We had a standard double room. The bed was comfy, nice shower, nice cold air con and a roomy balcony. The television also had plenty of English channels eg, itv, itv 2, Bbc etc. The room had a safe but this was an extra charge of €2.50 per day.

Food at the hotel was delicious and with so much choice it would be hard not to please everybody. Lots of fresh fish and meat being cooked in front of you in the evenings and in the mornings omolettes.

The entertainment team were brilliant. They had lots of enthusiasm throughout the day and remained professional throughout. It was nice as they asked you to join in but they didn't hassle or pressure you. There was lots of activities e.g water polo, brain gym, sangria making and a foam party every Monday.

The pool areas are amazing, especially the infinity pool on the rooftop. Wow! What an amazing view overlooking playa de las Americas! It was never a struggle to find a sun lounger as there are plenty to go around.

I also had a massage at the hotel and it was very relaxing. €35 for 30 mins, very reasonable!

I cannot wait to book again at this hotel.

Regular visitors who have stayed in the Bitacora, H10 Conquistador, Med Palace. H10 Big Sur and The Best on the island.
I've stayedhere when it was called the Noella a couple of times before the name changeto Tigotan and refurb. They have spruced up the reception and foyer areas and made some changes by the pool...and of course no kids now !!! We had one of rooms over looking the adjacent apartments not the pool so can't comment on views. Again the landing had been spruced up and the same with the room. Few new paintings, new paint, some pictures etc so I don't think they did a full refurb but have spent some money on the place. I tried to upgrade to a suite but the hotel was full. Even so, plenty of sun beds but you still have to be up a 9am if you want a particular spot. Nice roof top bar and infinity pool over looking the ocean. If you are feeling really brave there is a roof top nudist area although it is screened off. Food was great and service excellent. They have trained their staff well and it shows. I see some negative comments about tea/coffee in the room but from memory we had a coffee maker. There was a safe and the air con was just about adequate. Hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the centre of Playa de Las Americas. For the money, I think it's a great place to stay and will stay again.

I cannot fault this hotel. From the moment the coach pulled up outside, I knew we had made the right choice with our booking.

I stayed here for 2 weeks (8th-22nd August) with my partner. On arrival the reception staff were quick and efficient, very welcoming and offered us a glass of sparkling wine, which was a really nice touch after being on our feet for nearly 12 hours!

We were in room 363 which had a (small) sea view and faced the pool of the hotel next door, which wasn't an issue for us. We always got a great night sleep, as it was very quiet and the bed was very comfy. The daily maid service was fantastic, they always did a great job and folded my nightwear into different objects for me which was a lovely touch. Bathroom was spacious with a lovely big sink and a powerful shower. Hotel toiletries were replenished every day too.

All the staff we came across were lovely, in particular, Natacha in Cafe Del Mar (rooftop bar) and Bartholmew the manager who spoke to us during dinner and asked if we were happy with our stay.

The whole hotel is absolutely amazing. From the pool downstairs to the rooftop. There are Jacuzzis available for all to use and we had no difficulty in finding sunloungers, no matter what time of day it was.

The rooftop infinity pools have amazing views, it was great to sit at the tables after dinner and watch the sunset with a cocktail - Tigotàn's signature was our favourite!

The food was absolutely out of this world. There wasn't a night we were disappointed with what was offered for dinner, same at breakfast.

Tigotàn is in a great location, short distance to local bars, shops and the beach.

This has to be the place to be for a relaxing holiday. Once you stay at Tigotàn you won't want to stay anywhere else in Tenerife.

Just back from a 2 week stay in tigotan loved this hotel, room was nice expected a little bit more with it being 4 star but still liked our room all the more, all the staff were really welcoming, when your first down to the restaurant at 7 all the staff stand in a line and great you whilst you walk through witch we really liked, food was amazing for it being half board food getting cooked in front of you, amazing choices too, on arrival we had to pay 100 euros witch is fair enough for security bit we were not told it would be as high as 100 euros before arrival, so drinks water juice etc had to be added onto our 100 euro deposit I feel we should have been told about this before arriving as it ate i to our spending money, water and juice should be free at dinner time I would say, the roof top was fab the main reason why I booked this hotel dj on a Sunday afternoon tigotan owns cocktail was amazing, downstairs pool was good aswell good entrainment on during the day , beds really comfy and always had a good nites sleep, Natasha the barmaid in cafe del Mar was fab and spoke us the whole holiday really nice lady, the hotel manager Bartholomew was a really nice guy and spoke to all his customers asking everyone if everything is ok, it was a jet 2 hotel and you get resort check out witch was so much easier on the way home they take your bags to the airport before you leave, champagne on arrival aswell witch was fab, would defo stay here again #tigotan🍸☉

I stayed at this amazing hotel with 10 other ladies.
I personally can't fault any area at all.
From the minute I stepped into the hotel and was greeted by Fran the Restaurant Manager to when he said goodbye it was awesome.
I have booked to return at Christmas and my sister in law is returning in October with her husband.
The whole place was clean and fresh.
The food was amazing as were the cocktails!!!
I had no complaints at all regarding staff, everyone was friendly.
