Very good stay at Dreamhouse

Stayed 6 nights in a 2 bedroom flat at the Dreamhouse apartments - very comfortable, large, well equipped. Quiet bedrooms, but noise from the street in the lounge. Could do with a coffee table in the lounge and better lighting - very dim. And no wastepaper baskets in the bathrooms. All in all, highly recommended, with excellent location, very close to good restaurants, supermarket, bars and the attractions of the centre. Excellent wifi. Very clean.

Excellent Stay but beware of parking bay 45

The location, space in the apartment and cleanliness of this accommodation cannot be faulted. We did experience a 'turned off' fridge/freezer that leaked water on our arrival and a bathroom extractor that was not functioning and we were not informed about. The only negative experience was being told to park in the secure underground parking below a leaking pipe that now necessitates work to be dome on the roof of the new top of the range car that i have. The factor of the building does not want to know about this (BEWARE FUTURE DRIVERS) but the apartment company has agreed to pay for the repair or refund insurance premiums. Would I stay here again? Yes. (if promise to pay for damage to car is realised). Very convenient for shops, restaurants and theatres/cinemas. Would I park as directed by the apartment management - yes - but check for leaks first. New allocated bay is fine. Factor/owner of building does not seem to want to know about problems which could be an issue if your car is damaged by his/her neglect or complete reluctance to act to fix the problem. Another car parked in bay 45 receiving the Acid Test from the leaking pipe as I type.

What a comfortable stay.

I do love staying at these apartments I always find the concierge staff always polite and the decor is always nice.
The decor does vary but I always find it to a suitable standard and Ingram Street Is a great location to explore the city of glasgow.

Clean, spacious and comfortable accommodation in a prime city centre spot. The apartment provides all that you need in terms of service and facilities. And there is free secure parking. Excellent. The location is superb for local shops, entertainment and transport.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, our stay with the "Dreamhouse" Apartments turned into a complete nightmare. Our expected reservation at Blythwood was somehow mixed up and we only were able to stay at the property we booked for two nights; then was told "there was nothing they could do" and had to be moved to another property across town. We were offered a cheap bottle of champagne along with some chocolates for the trouble. We were then subsequently moved to a much more inferior property, which is not what we paid for. We booked a 5 star accommodation and this other property was barely a 3 star, with soiled carpets, cheap and incredibly worn furniture, dirty box springs, and a foul musty smell throughout the apartment. We were horrified and tried to contact them in regards to this unexpected & unwelcome surprise. The staff were unbelievably apathetic and indifferent to the fact that the two properties were vastly different and not what we had agreed to. We were asked to please understand. (!) The Director of Operations was completely unhelpful and unsympathetic to the issues we raised with her. We, in fact, got no further response from her whatsoever, nor explanation as to why this had been allowed to happen. That being said, Glasgow is a beautiful and vibrant city- with plenty of other options as far as accommodations are concerned. I cannot stress enough to urge you to stay at another property; this experience ruined our holiday.
