Comfortable stay for short trips

This hotel was a last minute choice since we were left with minimum options due to heavy rains. It was an on-the-spot booking but we did get the rooms as per our specifications. The rates were a tad higher I felt. We had booked 3 jungle facing rooms and the view from the balcony was just awesome. The property also have a swimming pool, garden, a small pond and a playing area for kids. Listed below are few positives and negatives.

Pros :
1) Rooms were clean and spacious
2) There is a dorm facility for drivers

Cons :
1) Booking took a lot of time, we had to wait for at least 30 mins to get the rooms
2) To our surprise, there was no running water next morning, upon checking we got to know that there was a delay in pump operation and we had to wait for a long time. This is a one-of-its-kind issue which we don't face in hotels.

We had an excellent stay in our recent trip to dooars in this wonderful hotel.. Beautiful property.. Everywhere green and well maintained.. Staff was prompt n offered service pleasingly.. Well decorated ornamental garden and surroundings with a lake with ducks around and some colourful birds kept our children attracted to nature.. Sitting in the wide outside area in the premises of the property, chatting, watching the rain and listening to the music of insects from the forest surrounding gave us a superb feeling of being connected with the nature.. Everything in the hotel including our room and washroom was spic and pan only one thing that we were not comfortable with was the bed which was too bumpy except this everything gets a full mark.. Now would want to acknowledge one special person who really won our heart with his gentle, helpful and sober nature and our stomach with his awesome preparations be it Bengali, mughlai, south indian or chinese ---- Monu da (Mr Shubhomoy Sarkar) His overwhelming behavior and delicious delicacies indeed made our stay special and we would love to visit this lovely property again hoping it to maintain the way it is.. 😊

Great place to stay and experience nature at its best. Wasn't expecting such comfortable stay in midst of dense forest. Food was excellent and the chef Mr. Suvhamoy Sarkar popularly known as Monuda all around is a master in his skills. He ensures that everyone visiting the the restaurant feels like home. From receptionist to room service all staff members were very polite and helpful. Great place to stay if you are visiting Lataguri

The hotel has started in 2012.Excellent place for relaxation amidst deep forest. Each room offers breath taking view of forest offering different shades of forest r a large from morning till night. This is more beautiful on full moon day. The hotel is spread area having 64 double rooms with attached bath/ toilet with 24 hours hot and cold water with wifi swimming pool and two conference halls having capacity of 250 and 100 persons each. The hotel has restaurant offering varieties of food veg and non veg both . Worth staying for one night

The hotel is located at the entrance of the buffer area of the Goru mara national park. The place is nicely decorated with a children's park, a lawn and water bodies. But the rooms are dreadful. The bathroom stinking, geysers not working, the fridge smelling so bad that it could make you vomit. The bed is actually of spring, above that was a thick sheet of sponge that is capable of giving you all type s of aches. Pillows are such dirty that you cannot even think in a hotel which charge 2100 per night only for a stay. Food was like street pice hotel's and is over priced. In short to me it's a nightmare land instead of dream land.
