Long weekend
Rusty Mon 08/08/2017 22:31Nice place to stay. Room was nice that we picked out. Breakfast was good. Expected breakfast to be little more to eat but it was delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. House was close to several parks, historical area and within walking distance to the river walk. Would stay again.
Bed and Breakfast
Jennifer Bon 28/07/2017 20:32Owners were very hospitable and welcoming. Very knowledgeable of area gave great recommendations. Breakfast was delicious. Savannah Georgia was a great town to visit. Very clean and friendly. Easy to get around. Everything was in walking distance. The city does a great job of keeping the historic district true to the time area.
Classic Savannah
Jo-Anne Eon 16/07/2017 05:12This delightful B&B in historic Savannah, furnished in vintage and period decor, serves a gourmet-style breakfast, great Savannah coffee and a nice wine and cheese hour every day. Rooms are generous and bathrooms are updated. Bear in mind, this is a late 1800s property so with that comes constant upkeep and you'll notice a few "Velveteen Rabbit" areas but it's part of the charm. The porch is a great relaxing and people watching location. Sit with you book, iPad , coffee or wine and enjoy the veranda. The location is unbeatable - a block from Forsyth Park. Fasting is a pretty street with large homes. This property, equally dog-friendly and people friendly, was owned by two brothers. Palmer lived on one side and Dresser on the other, thus the name. One brother was more successful than the other so the main side of the home with all the dining areas is spacious and welcoming. The other side has several guest rooms. Enjoy your stay and your breakfast. And don't mind their friendly little ghost named Madeline. She's harmless.
Mother's Day Surprise
suzfelon 15/05/2017 02:52I planned a Mother's Day surprise trip to Savannah for my mom. I chose the Dresser-Palmer House because of its beautiful porch and rooms. It did not disappoint! It was the perfect place to come back to in the evening and relax outside. The friendly staff, guests and accommodations definitely added to this trip filled with pleasant memories!
Dresser Palmer House SAVES THE DAY!
aomoneton 14/05/2017 02:25My fiancée and I were just notified that the B&B we reserved last summer for our 2.0 wedding was sold and closing a mere 3 weeks before our wedding! After spending the day shuffling pre-wedding plans, and endless searching of an Inn to meet our budget, dates and style, the Dresser Palmer House came to our rescue! Collin was friendly, helpful and very understanding. We cannot wait to come & celebrate our reuniting with them in Savannah.
