Dude Motel? Really? Surprise! nicely remodeled rooms that were spotlessly clean, located in a nice small town with restaurants, supermarket, etc. When we come back to Yellowstone for a longer visit, this will be my FIRST CHOICE!

Jennifer Don 04/10/2016 08:30The room was average. We had a quiet room in the corner. The were remodeling so it was dirty outside the motel. Internet not great. Within walking distance of the town. Room was warm as it was cold outside.
Surprisingly nice
GWT2igon 25/08/2016 03:34We pulled into West Yellowstone in the early evening and without a reservation. The Dude was the only reasonably price motel. Well... The desk clerk (Ann) was pleasant and helpful. The room was large, well furnished and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The motel is downtown near the restaurants and stores. There is a grocery store and bakery/coffee store across the street. I recommend the Dude.
Comfortable Beds, spotlessly clean

However, we were very pleasantly surprised when we found our rooms a good size, with comfortable beds, spotless clean rooms and bathrooms. Yes, the furniture is a bit old, as were the TVs, but we had no trouble at all with the wifi, the a/c worked fine and it is in a quiet corner of the town so we did not have to cope with traffic noise. They have obviously done a lot of work updating the place. The lady at the front desk was friendly and efficient. Everything was ready so no delays or complications. Yes it was pricey for what it was, but everything in Yellowstone is pricey during peak season. We had a comfortable, pleasant stay. Just one note though - please make your next investment in hair dryers! We never pack those any more as every hotel we stay at has them now.
Probably the worst Motel in Town
ianaoumovon 29/07/2016 17:20No refrigerator, iron, or wifi in the room. And you won't have any breakfast either. My room was extremely dusty. In fact, I was sneezing all the time, even though I do not have any allergies. Some people in our tour group had to sleep with the door open due to the strong odors in the room. The people working the front desk barely spoke and understood English and worked very slowly. When I looked up the price of a night in this motel, I couldn't believe my eyes.
