Good Location
Noela Ron 05/06/2017 16:05Duet Hotel is well situated for walking to the Old City, Market Square etc. It is in a street where parking is difficult. You might be lucky if arriving by car and find a space otherwise there is nowhere to unload. The hotel does have a paid parking place some distance away. We were lucky nd found a street place so don't really know about the other parking place. Reception is friendly and helpful. Speaking English. Room was comfortable - bit "compact" but OK for one night. Rooms face road so traffic, tram and pedestrian noise can be a problem with the window open. No a/c, only a fan. Did have coffee and tea making facility in the room. Breakfast was buffet with good choice. Good hotel for exploring the Old City - just be warned about parking/unloading problem as you may be going around the block a second or third time before you can park and unload
At Wroclaw for a scientific conference
Filippos Kon 18/05/2017 15:26The hotel is really nice. Very close to the city center, 10 minutes by foot. The staff very friendly and extremely polite. The breakfast was good as well. I have to say that Wroclaw and Polish people from now on will have a special place in my heart.
Comfortable stay in Wroclaw
ElenaKiev1on 05/05/2017 07:40We stayed in the hotel 2 nights. The hotel is clean and cozy, very close to city center. They provide electrical kettle with choice of tea and coffee. All rooms face the street but windows are soundproof. The staff at the reception is always happy to help. Would recommend it.
Ideal location
Deborah Jon 30/04/2017 16:18I visited with 3 girlfriends and stayed for 4 nights in this spotlessly clean hotel in two adjacent rooms situated on the 5th floor. Our rooms were pleasant and comfortable with modern spacious bathrooms. We had read about the tram noise but being on the higher floor it didn't cause us a problem. I think maybe if you were nearer the ground floor it could have been annoying.
The breakfast included fruit, yoghurt, rolls, various breads, cereals, cheese, meats and hot dog sausages with eggs. All fine and nicely presented.
The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the pretty square so good location. Plenty of choice of restaurants to chose from there all really reasonable in price. We got the tram to the Sky Tower which is well worth doing. Fantastic view from the top.
As we were leaving at 4.15 a.m. for our flight the hotel provided us with a free breakfast to take with us. This was offered by them without us asking so we thought that was excellent service. The pack included sandwiches, yoghurt(with spoon), breakfast cereal biscuits, chocolate wafer bar, juice and a bottle of water.
We had a good time staying at this reasonably priced accommodation and would recommend it.
Great location, friendly staff
farmerstoon 16/02/2017 19:59From the outside it looks pretty run down, but inside I was pleasantly surprised. It has a great location (easy to walk into town) but it is very loud - the tram runs right underneath the window of the rooms at the front of the hotel and I was shaken awake by it one night. Staff were really helpful though, providing an extra duvet and water when requested.
