MLTBCHon 25/05/2017 17:42Stayed here 2 nights when in Astana and were disappointed. Started already with the transfer arranged on arrival being nowhere to be found. Our room, while being classified as non-smoking, had clearly been smoked in as it smelled strong. Facilities were basic but okay, all working. Breakfast was very limited, not worth the price. Hotel indicated is to a tour bus to get to know the city but after walking around the city the whole day it was nowhere to be found. Altogether we believe Astana has better options than the Duman hotel.
Great stay
Kur1234on 23/05/2017 07:18Everything in the hotel was good the breakfast, the gym, the location, the rooms
The hotel has a good view from the balcony
The hotel is peaceful
There is a hop on hop off bus service 300 meters from the hotel the tickets are cheap and they can give you the tour of the entire city
The hotel staff can speak a few different languages like Chinese, English, Russian etc
The biggest tent shopping mall is just 2 KM away from the hotel
You can find a lot of different cuisines near the hotel
Nice!
Adrian Con 26/04/2017 06:48Nice place to stay, friendly staff, very good location - everything is close. Big room with a balcony and a nice view. They also brought me breakfast in the room when I told that a cant come. Thank you!

corridoreon 13/02/2017 18:43Staying here for a conference and the hotel and had everything I needed. Reception staff polite and helpful, good sized, and warm, room and a good shower. Great view of the city. Shopping centre next door. Room service.
I would happily stay here again.....wonderful futuristic building too with a funky lighting show on the outside....
A place to sleep! just this.
Mohi Son 12/12/2016 15:23You really don't feel that you're in a luxury or even good hotel, it's more like a big hostel. Rooms are all clear but the problem is about additional services. there's no good restaurants here, no good bar or club inside (just a karaoke bar and it's not that good). Staff (except reception) can not speak English.
And finally I felt that they are a little bit racist(!), because:
I had to share the room with one of my male colleagues, when I got the key from reception and checked the room, I saw only a double bed there, so I came back to the reception and asked to change the room. they changed room for me and I shared the new room with another colleague of mine who was from Azerbaijan. But when the guy who was my roommate (in the room with a double bed) asked the reception guy "what about me?" he replied: "Since you're Russian, you DESERVE a double room for yourself and there's no need to change the room or pay extra money for you.". It's not really a big deal, but when the reception guy told this to my friend in front of me, I really felt bad. Hotels are not good places for such things.
And finally when I checked the new room, everything were OK with beds (2 normal beds), but just one set of everything (towels, shampoos and ... just for 1 person) that was so funny.
Conclusion: If you're looking for a place to sleep, here is a good choice, but If you're planning to use hotel services, don't count on it.
