What People are saying

Lovely staff.

This is the second time I've stayed at the Dunadry hotel and I've enjoyed both visits. I'll probably stay here again when I'm next working here.
The staff cannot be faulted. Without exception, they are friendly and welcoming, always happy to help in any way they can.
The food is very good and reasonably priced, for a hotel. Drinks are the usual extortionate price that all hotels charge but no more than that. Breakfast is a buffet and offers something for everybody's taste, whether you want a feast or just some fruit or cereal.
I've been in two different rooms, in different parts of the building. Similarities are that they are clean and comfortable. A bit tired and dated but, hey, I kind of like that. A bit of character doesn't hurt. Difference was the shower. Most hotels recognise that customers will forgive many things, as long as they have a comfortable bed, good food and a good shower. The first room I was in had a good shower. In this, different part of the building, not so good. Not bad enough to feel there was something wrong with it, just lack of water pressure. Whinge over.
The hotel is set in beautiful, well maintained, grounds and has a pleasant Country House feel to it. The restaurant is very nice, with a conservatory seating area if you like that. The Copper bar has a clubhouse feel which is very relaxing, and helps you forget how much you're paying for your drinks. :-)
There is an adjoining swimming pool, spa and gym which residents have the free use of. I visited on this occasion just to have a try of the pool and spa. It was nice, but I was a bit surprised to find that it is necessary to buy a swimming cap in order to use the pool. Not sure why that is, but it was only a couple of quid, and as everyone in the pool is wearing them, you don't feel such a clown. I had a look in the gym which was fairly busy and seemed to be well equipped and not cramped for space.
Altogether, a pleasant place to stay, reasonably priced, with beautiful grounds and excellent staff, both front of house and housekeeping.

Rather nice

Rather a nice hotel. It's hard to explain really as there is the original building with what could only be described as a 1970's style extension but it looks and feels solid. Painted brick walls and solid wood door frames make for an old fashioned feel but didn't look worn out. Its characterful rather than modern and on the whole I liked it. There was the old fashioned style hotel radio in the room, didn't work mind but it just looked retro rather than a piece of furniture that needed replacing. Food nice. I personally sat in the bar but there is a restaurant and a nice pub just down the road. Lovely garden with a little river side stroll. Minimal airport noise too although you can hear the trains. Nice relaxing stay when working away for 4 nights.

To chill out

Will come back soon 👍🏻

Beautiful setting for a hotel, great photo opportunities for weddings.
All the staff I spoke to were friendly and polite. I believe the hotel is very recently under new ownership and this should be good news.

We also enjoyed the adjoining Spa facilities. Very relaxing.

Dunadry
We had our wedding there 6.7.17-BEST DAY EVER!!
The guests all said how beautiful the food was, service was fantastic and the grounds were beautiful. The bridal suite was stunning, carpet was so thick I could have slept on it!

The real Gem in the place is the master of ceremonys Malachy. Without him our day wouldn't have been complete...the man is an absolute angel and deserves all the credit for helping us celebrate our special day. We truly appriciate all the special touches and the quiet 10mins he organised us will stay with us.

The hotel is nice and welcoming, staff are friendly enough although there could be a bit more done to let guests know of what they can do. The room I was in had no Tea and Coffee set up and Hotel knowledge was scarce. Being here for work it mattered not to me however there could have been some effort especially when something went rang and it was excused as lost in translation.
