VJR7on 19/08/2017 22:17We love staying at The Dunes on the Waterfront, we look forward to are visit to Maine and staying at the Dunes The place is very Beautiful and the beach access after crossing the inlet during low tide is very nice and the sand is great the waves are even better.

Marybella Con 15/08/2017 22:41This is our second time The Dunes, we rented a deluxe suite which fits 4 people. The room is so big we had a dance party. Everything was so clean. The bathroom was also spacious and updated. Loved the decor, beds are comfy, quiet area and staff is always nice and helpful. We always chat with all the staff, It's like we are one big family. If your looking to party and stay up late, this is not your place. This is a spot for family time and relaxation. Love buster pound is a few feet from resort and breakfast across the street. Trolley stop right in front of entrance. No complaints, My only recommendation would be that they put shelves in the bathroom. With 3 girls, there was not enough space in the bathroom for all our stuff. We will be back

CheasTravelon 06/08/2017 01:58Though we were not in one of our favorite cottage, everything was wonderful. Relaxing, beautiful grounds, well appointed unit.
It was our first time with our daughter (she's two) and between the screened in porch, the pool and the playground, she had a lot of fun.
It had been four years since our last visit and we appreciate the new (maybe not so new) extras, such as iced tea, coffees and pastries at the front office.
We didn't get a chance to use the kayaks or do paddle boarding, but it's nice to know it's available now.
Once you try and like The Dunes, you always want to come back.

travelerO2374VDon 15/07/2017 17:02We loved this place. It was quiet, had great views of the water, and the staff was terrific throuought our stay. They had rowboats available to to the beach at high tide, and they had kayaks and paddle boards in-site for rent as well. Brilliant. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
My only complaint is that none of the cabins appear to be wheelchair accessible. I don't use a wheelchair myself, but I am an accessibility consultant and I thought they should have at least one cabin that is ADA compliant.
