Peaceful Place to stay

Stayed here for 2 nights. It was marvellous. From the time of arrival, we were greeted and been tour around the villa. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. There is a free 1 way pickup / drop off service to/from airport. It is really peaceful and you can have the relaxation time you want. The villa comes with outdoor shower, bathtub, pool, and a modern bedroom. You cant ask for more..

Conclusion : Must stay!

A Good and Safe Place to Stay in Bali!

We stayed in Dura Villas Bali from 13-27th June 2017 for our first trip to Bali - we also celebrated our anniversary here.

The condition of the private villa + private pool is excellent. Cleaning is done every single day with fresh towels, soaps, lotion, bed sheets, kitchen is cleaned and so is the pool and pool area.

We felt very well taken care of during the duration of our trip. We must praise and give a great big thank you to the driver and one member of staff named Madi. He was excellent in any possible way; spoke very good and understandable English, helped us in various situations, guided us, gave us trips and advice for our stay and locations in Bali. Thank you very much Madi and for anyone going to Dura Villas Bali - ask for Madi! We can't thank him enough for being so kind and helpful.

We were staying at Villa No 5 - included a large private villa, pool, terrace, kitchen, living room, 2 bathrooms, 2 ensuite bedrooms (even though we only used 1 master bedroom) and a beautiful temple area aside to the pool. We tried room service and spa service - both worked very well - no complaints. They were very professional.

Dura Villas Bali also has a Free Shuttle Service - however the reason for not giving this place 5 stars is due to two vital things:

1) The majority of the staff ( and I mean everyone apart from Madi ) could not speak okay-level English. Perhaps 2,3 words and that's it. We could not understand them and they could not understand us. It was very difficult at times, when we had to organise trips, tours, special occasions and in case of an emergency (we had to go to the hospital due to an open wound monkey bite) and yet, they could barely accommodate us or understand. We celebrated our anniversary here, which went well, they did as promised and what was previously agreed and arranged upon - but the level of English NEEDS to be higher, especially for a place of this standard.

2) The free shuttle service is not sufficient. It is available ONLY during 10:00 - 17:00, drop off ONLY, and ONLY in town centre (Kuta, Seminyak etc) which is not very great. We needed to take countless taxis back and forth due to the lack of service from the shuttle - this was an issue for the negotiation of price and for the taxi drivers to even find Dura Villas Bali (apparently there are two streets named the same in Kerobokan).

Aside from this, our stay was very enjoyable and comfortable. The area is safe and has a lovely restaurant just 5 minutes walking, Cafe Charka which we visited multiple times. A must to visit as well!

A lovely place to stay. Large comfortable villas with their own private pools. The staff are extremely helpful. Good breakfast bought to the villa and free shuttle service to the airport.

Good value.

The rooms could use a visit by the maintenance team to attend to tiny repairs but nothing serious.

New towels would be good.

Unforgettable memories in Dura villa

This is our 1st time in Bali. We had stayed at Dura Villa for 4days. It's such a lovely place to accommodate. We were staying at villa no2, Bougenville. The villa is clean n private. In addition, there's good security in the compound n villa is huge.
My wife n I were impressed by villa staffs of their friendliness welcome during our arrival.
We were served by welcome drinks n intro of the villa by the staff.
Our villa had a kitchen with full utensils n a big refrigerator. The living hall came with a long stretch sofa. The pool was huge n had a big gazebo beside which created a good relaxation after swim. Our bedroom came with a big sofa bed. Very cooling air'con. The toilet was huge with big bathtub. It's also had a standing shower.
We had booked the honeymoon package. It consisted of 1x honeymooner dinner n 2hr exotic balinese massage. We really enjoyed the 2hr traditional balinese massage session. The masseurs were very skilful. Our body n mind really fell into deep relaxation after massage. For the honeymoon dinner, the staffs placed candles around the pool to add extra ambience. The dinner was nice n delicious.
There were 2 persons who really made our stay great, Rimas n Made.
Rimas, a young lady owner, is a person who will try to compromise yr stay to the extend. We were thankful to her for the arrangement for the dinner, which really created a unforgettable memory to us.
Made, driver n staff, who really took good care of us. He was a great guy who always carried his smile at all times. He explained to us in detailed for all the places of our tour. We chatted like friends. Laughter all around, he's was a very fun guy who made our tour so entertaining and fun.
The morning breakfast was great. There were 3 different breakfast menus to choose from, asian/American/balinese. We really enjoyed. The breakfast was such a great supplements to us to continue our daily tour itinerary.
We strongly recommended this Dura Villa and we will stay again on our next visit to bali.
If u are looking for a villa which is clean, private and service oriented qualities, this is the villa u should consider..... thumbs up for Dura villa.
Nevertheless, we would sincerely like to express our big thank you to Dura Villa for making our stay unforgettable..... cheers

Excellent service by all means

The villa is not within any town, which makes it to peaceful location. In the same time you are provided with flexible transport service all day to the towns in the area. The staff are always welling to help. They make you feel at home.
