NICE PLACE TO STAY IN BRANSON!

What a surprise the Dutton Inn was for us. We have been to Branson many times, but have never stayed at the Dutton Inn before. Rooms were reasonably priced and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A 25% discount was given for Dutton Show tickets. A full breakfast is included and is or should be ample enough for anyone. The breakfast room is large and there was always plenty of room, even when a bus was there. Food was good and served hot, buffet style. Menu included fruit, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, an assortment of bread and bagels for toasting, fruit juice, coffee, tea, Rooms were comfortable and quiet. A small laundry area is located on the premises also. It was VERY hot when we were there. The AC works VERY well. A very important point is that there is an elevator. There are 3 floors and all are easily accessible for anyone. There is a small gift shop in the lobby area. They also sell sodas and water in the lobby. There is another gift shop, Abby's Tourist Trap at the top of the hill which serves ice cream, cookies, brownies and so on. And, CiCi's Pizza is at the top of the hill also, along with the Dutton Theater. And, by the way, the show is well worth attending. The Dutton family is incredibly talented and provides a very entertaining variety of music. It is a good, clean family show, and the music is first rate. We have attended twice and enjoyed both shows. They include the children, which is nice. They, too, are VERY talented.

Even though this was our first visit, it won’t be our last. We were very pleased with our room. It was clean and quiet. No strange orders, no moldy showers…just clean!

As others have mentioned the breakfast was nothing special but was good enough that we ate it each day and got full. Also, our room had the soft mattress and the bath had the low shower head but let’s face it; this is a motel room and not my house. I’ll take clean, comfortable room any day over a taller shower head.

Overall one of the better non-chain motels we’ve stayed in and are looking forward to our next visit at the Dutton Inn. In fact, we've already booked our fall vacation with the Dutton Inn.

Lots of advantages to staying at The Dutton Inn! It borders both Hwy 76 and Green Mountain Drive so you have two options for going to/from the many sites/things-to-do in Branson. Friendly staff makes you feel welcomed and you want to return. We stayed July 19-22, 2017 when the temperatures were in the upper 90's and our room's air conditioner cooled the room perfectly. Clean room, comfortable king-size bed. Room had 3 chairs including a recliner. Nice-sized fridge, cable tv, coffee maker, etc. Tasty, convenient hot breakfast provided. By staying at their hotel, they also offer discounted tickets to The Duttons' amazing show at their theater. Within walking distance of other sites/things-to-do. Tasty fudge and things-to-buy at good prices at their 'tourist trap'. Competitive-priced hotel. Parking available front-and-back of the hotel.

We stayed for a mini-vacation weekend and it was really cozy. It was a really hot couple of days out when we stayed and the A/C in the rooms worked perfectly. THe room also made us feel at home and the beds were AHHHHHHHHHMAZING! If you want a good night's sleep and a great comfy bed this is the place for you. It is also affordable. The only downfall would have to be the breakfast. It is very bland, not a lot to choose from and they don't allow you to take it to your room to eat it in your own privacy. But there is a nice krispy kremes down the street. Overall, everything was really nice for the price and the beds felt better than a Marriott bed.

I don't like how they use real keys because if you lose them then they will charge you, which we had a minor scare, but luckily we found our key. The motel is also on the strip. If you are having a hard time choosing between this one and another motel, i'd choose this one.

Was hard to find the entrance to parking lot from main drag. Better entrance on the back side of building. Wasn't impressed when arrived Friday about 5 when the parking lot was roped off because of lot repair. Had to unpack the car and walk a bit to get to our room because of the lot problem. Front desk staff did a really good job in trying to please each guest, gave free ice cream for the inconvenience. Our room was a nice size had that table and chair which I like to have. Good water pressure & heat shower head was a bit short even for my height of 5'4". Enjoyed having microwave and fridge. My biggest complaint was the beds to soft for my taste, you sunk and was in a hole and was difficult to get up. The front desk staff was very helpful in solving a problem in our room immediately when brought to their attention. I would prefer to have double locks on my outside door. Will return again to stay.
