Fabulous room
Cully2014on 13/08/2017 21:20Had a really superb and large room and bathroom here on the ground floor and it was really comfortable. Staff really friendly here and gave us a bus card to go into the centre. The hotel bar by the river is very popular with the locals and provides a nice range of ice creams, drinks and snacks. Next door is a restaurant which is rather rustic and provides a range of typically basic Slovenian food at reasonable process Loved the hotel but there is not much around here other than the restaurant so you have to go into the city centre for anything else.

Horlicon 10/08/2017 10:51Can't fault Dvor Tacen. We stayed for 1 night as a family of 5 (2 rooms) and the service, comfort, style and cleanliness of this hotel are all excellent. Would recommend as either a stopover or for a few nights if visiting Ljubliana. Lovely coffee bar serves breakfast, snacks and drinks by the river.
Nice and reasonably priced choice of accommodation around Ljubljana
Ksenia Zon 13/07/2017 13:38Very nice new property with comfortable beautifully appointed rooms. The hotel is located in peaceful area, next to forest and mountain river. The staff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Ljubljana, and it may seem away from the center, but you would be surprised how close by everything is in this tiny capital, 10-15 min by car.
Very good but with some room to improve

The staff were fantastic.
The room was very good and clean. We did have difficulty in that we booked a room with a river view , but did not get one (unless you leaned out the window). In defense of the hotel , we did not complain at the time.
Breakfast was good, you can eat out comfortably by the river.
We did have a difficulty parking as my wife is disabled. Upon arrival the disabled bay was taken up by a member of staff, the next day it was totally blocked by an inconsiderate customer. Whilst it's difficult to blame the hotel ....We were left thinking parking was hard.
The room was spacious and clean with everything you would hope for, the staff superb, well worth considering for a trip to Ljubljana.
Excellent stay
AgentZuion 29/05/2017 11:42We have stayed three nights at Dvor Tacen to tour lovely Ljubljana and the area. this small, family run hotel is a lovely place, newly remodeled large size rooms and excellent breakfast.
the owners are eager and readily available for advise on where to eat, where to go and where to park.
the downsides are minor:
not in the center of the city, hence, you will need a car to go downtown. the upside is that the hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood.
the rooms on the first floor are immediately above the bar, you will need to close the windows to avoid the noise from the bar - the upside... you are close to the bar :)
