Perfect Family Reunion Location
RoseCityTraveler2017on 02/06/2017 00:43Our family (20s to 80s) took 5 rooms (with others, including young children, staying nearby) for 2 nights. The rooms vary in size and fixtures but they're all the height of comfort. Furnishings and linens are high quality, heat and A/C work well, several bathrooms have whirlpool tubs. Everyone raved about the beds. What really makes this place special are the gardens, the great breakfasts, and the spacious deck overlooking the river. We had a catered dinner there one night, and the next night Nancy and Robert graciously offered us the grill to prepare our own, for 14 people. And they helped us find a rafting guide at the last minute. Altogether a great experience.
Talk About Decompressing. . . .
deborah ton 26/05/2017 02:41We had the great pleasure of spending four nights at Eagle Rock Lodge and left wishing we could stay so much longer! The whole experience is simply breathtaking from the gorgeous location on the bank of the McKenzie River, the hospitality served up by Robert and Nancy (consummate hosts!) and beautifully decorated rooms. Every day starts with an amazing gourmet breakfast made to order, delicious homemade pastries, egg dishes, and then wine and homemade cookies in the afternoon. By the way, the coffee is just about the best we have had in any lodging!
We can't say enough about our experience there. It really is a gem on the river and once settled in you'll find yourself decompressing from the outside world. Simply gorgeous!
Amazing Getaway!!!!
sgfr1713on 10/03/2017 18:43Our stay at the Eagle Rock Lodge was spectacular!!! My husband went there on a getaway and everything was great. We were upgraded from the mayfly room to the songbird room. The Jacuzzi and the fireplace was awesome. Can't wait to return in the summer!!
Relaxing romantic getaway
on 12/02/2017 18:41We had a lovely romantic weekend. The songbird room was nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed, luxury linens and a jetted tub for two. A bonus was that our dog was welcome.
Nancy and Robert are stellar hosts. Wine in the afternoons, chocolaty treats in the evenings and the breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, home baked scones and a choice of entrees.
To top it off, my husband caught (and released) two large native cutthroat trout.
My only regret is that we didn't arrange for Chef Carl to make us dinner. We will have to do that next time.
Perfect of EVERYTHING!
Hsu Con 18/01/2017 01:32Everything was beyond my expectation! It was a warm, friendly, and with great sense of humor from Robert as soon as we walked in. We were offered great wine with wonderful stories from Nancy. We laughted a lot!
Both Robert and Nancy took care of all our needs the whole time we were there. Gave us beach towels for Hot Spring, took pictures for us, cooked nice yummy breakfast, and, cared us sincerely.
We wanted to add tip on top of your stay/cost, but, Nancy refused!
We are planning to go back this summer for a longer stay!! I especially liked how each room is completed different, we stayed at Mayfly this time and planning to stay at Owl this summer! So excited!
