Christian Von 25/08/2017 13:39Stayed at East Bay Inn for our 24th anniversary. Beautiful facility in historic Savannah. Two lady's at the counter were SUPER helpful with suggestions for activities and food.
I understand that the facility was busy (eclipse) and is pet friendly, but when I check into the room and the pet is still all over the room, tells me the cleaning is, at best, superficial. We found two lighters in the cushion of the couch amongst the other pet hair (not the same color as the hair in room), mirrors were dirty and glass on furniture covered in dust tells me no one is really cleaning the room. From that perspective and price paid, was a little disappointed in my stay.
Location, History and Doggies!
SFconon 22/08/2017 18:12This place is super cool. Old and creaky, full of character, great location...the whole 9! Our dogs love it here too. They love to look out the window onto Bay Street and the town is very dog friendly. Close restaurant Treylor Park is the bomb! Back patio for dogs, have the waffle fry nachos to die! Thanks Jennifer!
Great location
Alma Hon 20/08/2017 23:51My husband and I stayed at East Bay Inn for 2 nights celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. This place is close to pretty much everything, we did not have the need to drive at all. We did sightseeing, restaurants and shopping, everything was within walking distance.
The River walk is just across the street as well as restaurants and bars.
Highly recommend this place if what you are looking is to enjoy Historic Savannaha and stay at an affordable place.
Great Vacation Spot
sharonsD9943PZon 19/08/2017 22:24Our Sister Trip was just wonderful. The East Bay Inn was just the best choice we made. This was a great location, rooms were very nice. At night they turned the bed covers down, filled the ice bucket and left a chocolate on your pillow. The hotel staff were so very nice & helpful in getting us set with a pickup up for our tour with Old Savannah Tours, which was excellent. Also made us dinner reservations at the Pink House, the meal was wonderful. And do take one of the Ghost Tours, it was fun, they will help you with that too! There is a restaurant on site. Enjoy & Have Fun!

Ken Son 18/08/2017 21:31We called ahead and requested an early check in which was not guaranteed but we got it. Only 1 parking space available when we arrived. The desk staff were very friendly and polite. The next person we interacted with was Melvin the bellman. What a character and full of information. The room was nice and just what my wife expected with old southern charm. Everything was very clean and neat. Free wine and appetizers at happy hour. Breakfast was well prepared and tasty, a great way to start the day. We'll be back.
