Ciprian Lon 19/02/2016 11:493 nights stay at this Hotel, very conservative breakfast with just a few choices.
Room was ok and tidy. Actually a sort of average hotel with nothing special at all.
It is a quick drive to city center if no traffic other ways it could take hours
good clean modern
Simon Mon 24/02/2014 14:03A good clean modern hotel. The restaurant was superb but expensive. No car parking available, which was odd. Rather long bus ride from metro (40 minutes depending on traffic) but Ok even without speaking Russian.
Nondescript business hotel in Moscow suburb
PoleApart1on 23/06/2013 08:19Stayed here for 1 night. Hotel is a decent, clean 3 star which you can find in any European city. Check in non problematic - pretty receptionist was smiling, competent and with OK English. Couple of points not covered in other reviews. The windows in the rooms do not open and the AC can barely keep up. It was a hot day and the room was very stuffy on check in. In the evening as the air outside cooled down it was very irritating to not be able to get a breeze of fresh air into the room. The AC unit does a so-so job - so only a "Poor" for sleep quality. There are 2 or 3 restaurants as you exit the hotel and turn right - not just the McD's where the local youth loves hanging out but also a sushi place and a decent looking Russian one as you head in the direction of the old church and Lenin statue. Behind the shopping mall there's also a large square with beer gardens open in summer. An evening walk around gives a good idea of daily life in a Moscow suburb - quite interesting if you're into getting an idea of how the locals live. If these kind of experiences freak you out - just stay n the hotel restaurant - I didn't try it, not even for breakfast so can't comment.
Do not event think of staying here if you plan on going to Moscow itself by car or taxi. Find a hotel closer to the centre or near one of the elektrichka suburban trains. The trip by car will be an easy 2 hours even though the distance is 30 kms or so.
Plan on 2-3 hours for the 40 km drive to or from Sheremetevo airport. The 5 lane MKAD Moscow ring road does not move. I landed at 10 pm on a weekday and it took 2 hours to get from the airport to the hotel. Flying out on Friday it was 3 hours. For driving anywhere in the area - assume twice as long as as you would normally expect.
Reasonable room poor service
Gandrewzon 16/10/2012 15:35This hotel is fairly new so the room was modern and comfortable, however, it was a bit hot and the air conditioning did not really cool the room down.
Check in was fast and efficient the staff were polite and helpfull.
Wifi connection was free and fast.
The shower was hot enough although sometimes I had to run it for a while to get the hot water through.
The bin in the room was not emptied for the last 2 nights I was there, and on one day the room had not been made up at all.
The breakfast's are very limited, 3 choices (2 freid eggs, an omelet or porrdige) and they did not want to give a 2nd cup of coffee.
The restaurant is relatively expensive and the service was terrible, I had to call the waiter everytime I wanted something, not once did they approach and ask if I wanted anything.
The food was OK but nothing special.
