Under Renovation yet Comfortable

I stayed here for 2weeks and had very few complaints despite the massive renovation that's happening my room was quiet.
I was in 1516 window facing the Nathan Hotel. The room was small, very compact but had all you'll need. A tiny fridge (no mini bar). Bed was firm with white comfy pillows. Towels are soft and fluffy and bathroom had some amenities others you'll have to request.

During the renovations some restaurants, the gym and swimming pool are closed. However the Eaton has arranged shuttle service to their sister hotel, so guests can still have access to the gym and pool. Renovation should be completed by the end of 2017

Check in took a little while but they were busy with a host of mainlanders at the time.
The staff weren't rude but they weren't friendly either. They get the job done.
Eaton is on Nathan Rd which leads straight into TST wether you choose to walk or take the train it's not far.
It's close to Mong Kok where there are a lot of night and day markets (Jade Market, Ladies Market, Flower Market) all walking distance or a quick bus ride.
Eaton is also very close to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
My only complaint, is even though there's a non-smoking sign the room smelt of stale smoke. Not sure if I got a non smoking room on a smoking floor or if previous guest smoked in the room.
Also a bathrobe would have been nice. I guess I didn't ask for one but a 4 star hotel, one should have been provided 😉
I'm curious to see the improvements come 2018!

Very good hotel, nice gym, lovely rooftop pool, nice bar area, staff where very nice and friendly to all our family, decent rooms, situated on Nathan road, this hotel is central to everything, we needed, good, clean hotel would stay again

I was only booked overnight for my short stay in HK. Nice location, comfortable and in general a good place to be when in HK. The hotel was being renovated during my stay and management took time to relay the message to guest and extend their sincerest apology for some interruption of service (example: internet). Honestly, did not notice the noise if there was.

Decent hotel but not many frills.

Refurbishment was going on while we stayed here for 2 nights. Staff in bar are excellent, very welcoming and attentive. Rooms small and fairly basic but clean. Ok location on Kowloon. Quite near metro station and Temple Street market which is worth a visit. Very good buffet breakfast.

This a great place to say when visiting Hong Kong. It's close to most major spots. The rooms are clean but a little on the small side. This was not a problem as it was only somewhere to sleep. It is no resort just a good hotel. Breakfast was worth having with a good selection to choose from. Staff are friendly and helpful.
