Cosy and quiet place in the heart of Hong Kong
serenadeangon 13/08/2017 04:47Room is bigger than any other standard rooms of hotels in Hong Kong. It has a real kitchen and a corner of dining area. Neat and pleasant. I stayed 3 weeks due to renovation. Highly recommend if you are looking for a service apartment or home-feel place for mid - long term stay.
Great accessible and happening location: Just next to Hopewell Center in Wan Chai. Although you need to walk 3 mins upslope to get to the residence, it's not a big deal.
Local style residence
Gallantiqueon 11/08/2017 02:27I have stayed in Eaton for the first time just for one relaxing night. It was a good choice even It sounded too short staying in resident type of apartment.
Room: We have stayed in executive type on 22nd floor, reservation with the early booking discount . It is said “executive”, but I am not sure what was the difference between Designers and Executive in terms of spaces or taste of the room, must try next time. The room is exactly what I had expected just like Hong Kong’s renovated and designed apartment. I especially liked that every corner of the room has a plenty of window facing local neighborhood buildings including expensive looking ones in mid levels, and especially the nature green mountains. It was a good atmosphere considering with other budget hotels in Hong Kong we will find box like rooms with almost no views.
Summer in Hong Kong is quite tough with hot and humid 35c or more , and took a while to cool up the room with a furnished air conditioners.
Wanchai Gap road: narrow steep hill road was not a problem. I may have to note that I was with a feeling that up on a hill residence is a quite status as Hong Kong’s real estate:)
Cosy space for celebration
b0pwon 10/08/2017 06:27Room facility : Room is neat and pleasant. Almost include everything we need. The space is enough for a group of 5-6.Kitchen is clean too. That is out of our expectation that the refrigerator is not just hotel fridge size! The only thing to mention is lack of sound insulation between rooms. We dont recognise this until the lady next door come and complain for our noise.
Staff : very friendly and helpful. They come up and help to fix the electric cooking plate when we are in rush to prepare the birthday dinner.
Great

An oasis!
Prianka Ion 25/07/2017 03:59I have never had such a relaxing and pleasant stay in Hong Kong until I stayed at Eaton Residence!
Only a short walk from the Wan Chai MTR station, the residence is located atop a hill called "Wan Chai Gap Road". First-time visitors might miss this road because the property is only visible until you walk up (or drive up) the hill. I think this is what makes Eaton's vibe so lovely--it's nestled away from all of the commotion and noise!
- Staff: They were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Communication was clear and and any questions I had were answered promptly.
- Room: Perfect for me! The room was more spacious that I thought, especially since it came with a kitchen fully equipped with a microwave, water boiler, and washing machine! Bathroom was also elegant and had all of the necessary toiletries.
- Gym: It was a small gym with a few machines but good enough for a brief workout.
- Location: I think some people might complain that it's a steep walk up the hill, but welcome to Hong Kong! As for the surrounding area, there's a Maison Kayser across the street, along with a bunch of western fast-food establishments like McDonalds, Pret, Starbucks, etc. on the adjacent Queen's road.
In conclusion, I think Eaton is perfect for anyone who likes the experience of living like a local or expat. I've stayed at numerous hotels and airbnbs, and this place kind of felt like a combination of both. It's neither luxury nor austere, it's simply like home :)
All in all, I will definitely book Eaton again in the future (hopefully for a longer stay!)
