Fabulous wee hotel right on the bank of the Rhine

I stayed here for a week with a coach party from Northern Ireland. I was absolutely delighted with the whole experience. Booking in, rooms, food, drink, housekeeping, staff and location. However, I think the location is just perfect, situated just beside a Rhine cruise terminal, also about 10 minutes walk from the beautiful wee town of Boppard, along the bank of the Rhine.
Great variety of food for breakfast and dinner, tastefully presented, and moderately priced alcoholic drinks.
The staff were amazing, very willing to assist with directions, timetables etc.
I would definitely recommend this gem.

We were part of a coach journey (Kavanagh's Travel Ireland) that stayed in the Ebertor for 3 nights from 3rd July 2017. The room was challet style with plenty room, comfortable beds and very good shower facilities. The hotel itself was picture perfect with friendly and efficient staff and a fantastic beer garden looking on to the Rhine. Boppard is a very pretty town with good restaurants, friendly people, plenty shopping opportunities and access to wonderful river cruising. We would highly recommend this hotel

I am planning a trip to Boppard next month, and decided this was a very nice hotel to stay in. The online booking form wouldn't accept my postcode, (I am from NZ) so I sent them an email. No reply. So I have tried to contact this hotel by phone several times, and they continue to hang up on me once they hear my voice ! So disappointing !

We stayed at the hotel on a half board basis. We were allocated two rooms on the ground floor in the annex, a sort of motel arrangement, access to the rooms is directly from the car park. One room was in very good condition, the room had obviously been recently redecorated and the bathroom upgraded, our only problem was that the hand basin did not have a plug, this we notified to reception on several occasions, the net result however was that by the end of our stay no plug had materialized. The other room was very different, stained carpet, needed redecorating and the bathroom sadly in need of an upgrade. The rooms had flat screen tv, telephone, alarm clock radio and a hair dryer available in the bathroom. Parking at the hotel is charged at 6.50 euro per day, parking outside the hotel grounds is at parking meters. We found the food was good, varied and plentiful, breakfast and evening meal were in buffet form. There is a large terrace at the rear of the hotel where drinks and snacks are available. The terrace overlooks the river which is about 400m away, here you can observe the river traffic. Throughout our stay we found the staff very friendly and helpful, everywhere was clean and well ordered particularly the outside areas with many plants and flowers.
There is much to see in Boppard particularly a ride on the chair lift which we travelled on, the views from the lift and from the restaurant at the top are quite spectacular and should not be missed. The hotel provided lots of information on areas of interest.
All in all we had a very pleasant stay and would certainly recommend Ebertor to other travelers.

We found the hotel by chance and were not disappointed. We were given a room in a motel part of the hotel. The room was modern and beautifully clean. The rooms in the motel would be good for people with disabilities , every thing is on a level. There is free parking and we parked outside our unit. We only had breakfast which was adequate. There was a restaurant in the hotel but we decided to eat out in the evening to explore the beautiful town. Sleeping was good as we were not near any railway lines.
