What People are saying

Two stays within a months time

Clifford Ron 06/04/2017 15:03

I stayed here in the beginning of march for 6 nights then again in the beginning of April for 5 nights. My first experience was great which is why I came back but on my second visit I quickly realized I probably should have booked somewhere else.
I was on a high from being in Japan for the first time so I didn't notice the small issues that would be when I came back as a solo traveller instead of the group traveller on the first occasion.

The check-out every day quickly gets annoying when you've had a long night but to be fair they don't have a large lobby which is probably why we can't stay during the day as they would not have space to work.
The advantage of the fact that you have to leave is that it forces you to go out and explore!

The small lobby area also limits the ability to meet other travellers which is not good for the sociable people staying in hostels to meet like minded travellers. If you're in a group staying for a couple of nights and not really looking to make friends then this place would be for you. If you want to meet others then I would recommend another place with the installations for that.
The beds are decent but a little hard. For light sleepers, this may not be the place but are bunk bed hostels or capsules hotels every really the place for a light sleeper.

Staff is nice and willing to help with any questions but I was disappointed that they didn't allow me to use the paying coin lockers for a night before my second stay as I was only checking in the following day. A small favour for a returning customer would have been well appreciated.
After checkout luggage is stored in the lobby but keep in mind guests are not allowed inside before 5 so relatively safe.
All in all a decent stay and would come back here for one night in transit but probably not do another lengthy stay.

Good localization & clean

Mel Mon 04/04/2017 15:21

Very good localization. Clean and unusual place. Lockers for shoes and valuables. However the bags or suitcases are in one place (different from the dormitories). Women and men well separated.
Old equipment.
Calm but not be sensitive to noises from neighbors!

not very pleasant

kyotokumaon 01/04/2017 17:13

my sister & i stayed here for one night before we departed from Osaka early in the morning (thank goodness we didn't book another night). staying in the ladies floor was an unpleasant experience. there was no problem with the capsule itself. however at night, around 11-12 pm, other guests who had just returned from their trips would take shower, chat loudly & dry their hair, very very noisy. wouldn't be able to sleep before 1am. and washroom was not very clean.

Great place to stay if you don't like sleeping.

lmoc123on 12/03/2017 21:53

You get what you pay for is right. $25 for a night sleeping on a hard surface in what is quite possibly the noisiest hotel /hostel - type setup I've ever stayed in. I'm writing this right now after having been kept awake by other guests all night who have been talking, repacking bags, blowdrying their hair, slamming doors, etc. since 1130 pm. It is now 5 am.
This is my second and final night here, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone as it's been the same experience both nights. Decent enough facilities but truly inconsiderate guests.

Wickedly Courtesy STAFF!!

BUNGERBUNGon 18/02/2017 16:13

I'm just been there last night with my boyfriend (but stay separate floor).
They have a few staff in this place. But it's have one staff : the man with glasses who's i really unacceptable.
1. When i will go outside and needs to drop the key. I did its. But just one time i forgot, he shout so loud and say KEY KEY KEY with the very very very moody face.
I said : please be polite i just forgot its.

2. I wear the slipper (toilet shoe) come to downstair to get my own slipper that in my boyfriend's backpack then i ask my boyfriend bring it's to me (this case i'm wrong..but just downstair inside the lobby and the floor was so cold). The glasses staff see me. Then he speak the japanese language to me with loud voice+moody face+RUDELY Action.
I said : i don't understand what you say, please speak english.
So he talk to another staff who's can speak english. They thought that i will steal their (DIRTY+OLD) Slipper and wear to outside.
I try to explain them that i just come downstair and waiting for my own slipper from my boyfriend. They don't care!! Only told me to take the slipper back to the toilet.

3.On the morning...check out 10.00 am.
With my honest i'm late about 10 miniute.
Then i face to the rudely glasses staff again (in lift). As everytime moody face!!...then he talk to me.
He (with loud voice /Speak English with japanese pronunciations) : CHECK OUT TIME at 10.00 o'clock...10 o'clock ... umhmm...10 o'clock [So IRRITATE] then he look at my watch and give me a irritate face again.

OK!! Now.. i want to get out from this place immediately. I needs to take my shoe to wear outside (i walk out with bare feet .. so cold) and he close the door. BANG!!!
