Bad Ergonomics
KMC300on 04/04/2017 17:03I was forced to stay at this location, due to the other 2 Choice Hotel properties I normally stay at being sold out. The buildings are older and have had a less than successful renovation in the last year, but the biggest issue was what had to be some of the worst ergonomically designed features in a hotel room I've ever seen.
The electric iron is always a nice touch, but installing it right next to the clothes rack made the rack virtually unusable. Why not install the iron a foot higher, then slide the rack farther down, giving you more room for clothes and more counter space on the vanity?
Next, why put the toilet paper dispenser directly behind the bathroom door? It's fine if the door is closed, but if open, you must stand up, move out of the way, then close the door to retrieve paper? Once again, move the dispenser a foot closer to the toilet and problem solved.
Hopefully the property owner fired the contractor that did this job. Otherwise, the rooms are what you would expect for the price.....
Economy Hotel- Great Rate
Jimmy Hon 28/03/2017 12:37The Manager was super he actually came to my room Fast and changed Bulb in lamp! Excellent service! Breakfast is okay basically continental style. Room was clean Flat screen T.V. lot's of Channels, Internet was good! This is a older property but very Good Rate for what they offer! Thank you for the Price of your Hotel, saved the money and went for a Steak!
The worst "renovation"
RROBERTSIIon 01/11/2016 22:51If you have heard the term lipstick on a pig, that may describe this place. Granted it is an Econolodge, but I would rather have clean and comfortable vs. granite countertops any day. Location is great, but keep in mind that this is a motel at best.

Tony Son 24/07/2016 17:02Great room and very spacious with all that is needed. Conveniently located within places to eat. Staff has been spot on and easy to deal with. Would recommend this hotel to all who are on a budget. Would say this has been the cheapest/best I've stayed in, in a while.
Just Ok
David Gon 09/05/2016 03:49The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is minimal. It's not in the best part of town but it could be worse. The rate was reasonable. The room wasn't great but the room vs rate was reasonable enough that I stayed there a couple of times for business. I would not want my wife or daughter staying there unless I was there also
