Trip advisor let me down

I chose this hotel through trip adviser and have been very disappointed in this facility. the first thing you notice is the smell when you come into the room which is very old and worn out. if you want to use the equipment room, all pieces of equipment are broken so forget that. breakfast consists only of carbs and coffee and juice if you like that you'll be very happy

On a side note Do Not use trip advisor for hotel stays I know I won't

First there was a child running the front desk. They gave us a room on the second floor. There were no elevators. Me, my elderly parents, and my child had to drag our stuff up the two flights of stairs. When we got to the room, the key didn't work. Then someone opened the door. Looks like they lived there with all the clothes and appliances that were in the room. Then we went back down stairs with all our luggage and they gave us a room on the first floor. The beds were twin sized. The room smelled of mold and mildew. There were roaches. The air conditioner didn't work well either. There was not much of a breakfast down stairs like they had advertised. There were only 4 tv channels. If you ask me it was not worth the amount paid.

Not a great experience here. First the booking agent at Choice Hotels lied to me when I asked 3 times if this hotel was downtown Memphis. It is not! After we started deplaning people around us were telling us that we were staying in a really bad part of town. Out taxi driver even recommended we stay in our room. The lobby was nice but dirty. There was a coke can dropped in the lobby but was still there this morning. Their breakfast was continental,which is fine. But the warming trays were empty and not replenished for over an hour. Garbage was sitting there for over an hour as well. It was like they just didn't care. When we checked in they gave us a key to a room that had people in it. There was not even an iron. Overall we were not impressed.

The bad thing about booking a room over the internet is that the motel (naturally) puts great photos on line. On the outside, it looks great and the lobby was very nice. However, the rooms were a different matter. The toilet seat was loose in the bathroom, which made it difficult for my 94-year-old mother to get up. The furniture had patches on it. The remote for the TV did not work properly. This motel is located in a very bad part of town and when I tried to find something to eat, there were no places nearby. Overall, the worst night of our vacation.

If you want sleep DON'T STAY HERE!
First they gave someone else my room which I was woke up to the tring to come into my room not one try but two!
Then people were parting in the parking lot all night which they stated they couldn't do anything about......Hello call the police and have them removed from your property!
The staff is beyond incompetent and not helpful at all.
