Great Little Dog-Friendly Budget Hotel
LightBlueGemon 09/08/2017 22:03We had a lovely time here with our dogs and daughter. Yes, the room was cozy (our daughter slept on a pullout sofa, which she was a-ok with) but even with it extended, we had enough room for all 5 of us and our things. Don't listen to the haters. They must be expecting a budget motel to be the Ritz Carlton. The staff were lovely people who supplied a yummy waffle breakfast in a cozy dining room that had plenty of room for us to sit both mornings we ate there. Other patrons were mostly families and other folks like us just looking for a basic place that they didn't have to sell their firstborn in order to afford at high season. Truly, this place is as good or better that others in it's place in the hotel hierarchy. The room was slightly dated, but barely noticeably so. The bedding was modern and spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. I even got to see their laundry room when I asked for sheets and blankets for the pull out sofa and it was spotless, well organized and full of sparkling white sheets and towels-complaints that the bedding is dirty are unfounded. Seriously. The staff cleans and changes the bedding here. This place certainly doesn't deserve any scathing reviews. We loved it, and felt fortunate to find a dog friendly room here on short notice at high season. Will definitely be back!
Great room for the price
Aluttrell123on 31/07/2017 04:14We stayed just one night but the room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the staff were sweet. Our only complaint was parking. We arrive back at our room late and had to park at a neighboring business.
DO NOT RECOMMEND UNDER ANY SITUATION
International Ton 13/07/2017 09:241 star is too high for this place, dirty, odor, across the street from adult video. Had a booking here and left in less than 10 mins to find another place in town. Suspecious characters all around, parking lot did not look safe on busy noisey highway. Stay home or get a better place. No positives, do not recommend
Older motel but comfortable
Lois Bon 30/06/2017 18:29This motel has the best front desk staff both night and morning.Very kind and helpful! The manager even made homemade banana bread for breakfast😍. The room had everything you might need including a refrigerator and a microwave. We had a distant view of the ocean. It is an older motel but well maintained. We were pleased with this motel.
Our 2nd stay here
rainadeardenon 19/06/2017 06:10It was very enjoyable. Room was clean and nice. We loved the veiw and it worked perfect for our dogs. We came over twice to find a house to move to, we found one. It was also our 8yr anniversary so it was a nice get away and stay. We definitely will continue to stay and recommend your Lodge it was lovely.
