winetaster2014on 19/08/2017 22:07Stayed here for a week as a base to visit property and deal with Deschutes Planning Dept. Also visited friends and borrowed tools and equipment. Did attend the Rodeo!
Pleasant and helpful staff. They had a pool to cool down in! Breakfast was good and they replenished the supply as it was used up.
Clean and Quiet
SWMDL60on 19/08/2017 19:34This motel offers budget lodging without sacrificing some important aspects of comfortable lodging; clean and quiet. Although the building is older, the room and community areas were clean; no garbage, clutters or bugs. The lodge is on the busy street and in the middle of the town and moreover it was fully booked but there was no traffic noise and people noise during the night (we stayed two nights) what so ever. Unfortunately, you hear your neighbors pluming noise (toilet flushing, shower) when they are in use but that was about it.
Just a little note for the fellow budget travelers; no hair conditioner is offered (just shampoo) and breakfast is limited “continental” with English muffins and prepackaged mini-muffins. Also, we had one 1 Queen Bed room and the queen bed seemed and felt tiny. We aren’t a large couple but I was cramped. My brother’s family had 2 Queen Beds room and I learned it costed almost twice as much as ours.
Terrible customer service
brendabeehleron 12/08/2017 00:39I called to add 2 nights to my existing reservation of 2 rooms. I wanted to also verify that 1 room would be handicap accessible. the gal that answered scoffed at me and said they don't have any handicap rooms at all. She said that it's not illegal for them not too. Which may be true, but she seemed awfully proud about it.
Clean, nice room
ChuckBrookson 05/08/2017 20:11Room had good A/C and was cool when we checked in. It was clean, comfy bed, everything worked O/K. Had a fridge, micro, coffee in room. Breakfast was fruit, juice, mini muffins, English muffins, oatmeal. Overall, it was an average value.
Great stay
krg999on 05/08/2017 00:52We had a great night at this hotel. Very clean and nice breakfast too. We used the pool during the heat wave. Nicely located and friendly staff. We were able to walk to Five Guys for dinner. Definitely recommend, great value.
