Pretty decent for the price
pbwhiteon 19/07/2017 20:43Stayed here while on business at OSU. Usually, I stay next door at the Best Western, but they've increased their prices to the absurd.
The Econolodge was nice enough - fairly big room with a table to work at. Breakfast was serviceable for a couple of mornings, and staff was friendly.
Location is great for access to food - I walked both evenings to dinner - as well as to OSU for work. I would definitely stay here again, especially if they are 1/2 price as compared to next door.
The bed is hard, smaller than standard towels, no on at the reception,
uwinmayinon 07/07/2017 19:44I rang the bell and there was nobody. 10 minutes later, a woman approached me with a child yelling at me across the dinning room in front of all the other guests asking me what I want. Then I after I checked out from the Hotel, I received a call from the place accusing me that their towels are missing. I went back to the hotel to have this matter resolved but ended up having altercation with the woman who claim to be the manger at the hotel. As God as my witness, I didn't take their towels but it was her word against mine. Then she told me to leave and said she is going to charge me for the towels. I have been to many hotels and have never been in this kind of predicament. DON'T GO THERE!!!
No frills, basic room but clean and satisfactory
Lynn Mon 30/04/2017 16:39This was a perfect no frills motel. It was clean, and the room was surprisingly large with a table and 2 chairs. Shower was fine. Had a fridge, which would have been more of a plus if it didn't cause the food we put into it to freeze. Except for that, very pleased with this place -- way less expensive than neighboring motels. Bed was comfortable, though it did only have 3 pillows. All is all a very good value.
Quite adequate at a good price
828TJAon 27/02/2017 05:42We used to stay at the Comfort next door, but they became way too expensive so we stay here now. The rooms are large and have a refrigerator and microwave, table and two chairs, and a sofa. The plastic bathtub creaked when I shifted position.
The staff was pleasant, although often not at the front desk.
Breakfast was mostly bread items (pastry, bagels, cereal, waffles) and fresh fruit (apples, oranges, bananas). No eggs or yogurt. Orange juice, apple juice, coffee, tea. Small but adequate eating area.
Our room was quiet.
It's just a few hundred feet from a Trader Joe and some other grocery stores and restaurants.
Value for Money
Renee' Don 11/11/2016 17:35This is an excellent value for the cost. Housekeeping and front desk personnel were excellent. The only thing they do not have is coffee in the lobby 24 hours. There is, however, a single serve coffee maker in the room.
