Great location and staff - refurbished and clean room!

Each year we stay here for the annual Hotter'n Hell Hundred bike ride. The location is very close to the start line so the hotel is at full capacity, nevertheless, the manager, Danny and his entire staff are very nice and do a great job taking care of everyone. Our clean room had been refurbished from our prior stay and we are already looking forward to our August 2017 visit!

OK, this isn't the Ritz, but for what I paid I really cannot complain! It was close to the places I needed to get to, the room was clean (if a bit dated) and cool, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful!

I would have to say it's quite close to a major road so there was traffic noise through a lot of the night but beyond that I didn't hear a thing, you'd have thought I was the only person in the place!

The only thing I would have liked to have seen was a coffee machine in the room. I found out that there was coffee available 24 hours a day in reception, which is nice, but there's quite like having it brewing in the room in the morning!

Don't be put off by the negative reviews, I think this is a great little place for the price and would definitely stay again!!

It never fails that every single time I've stayed here the lady at the front desk is super rude to me. I understand I may come off as a little desperate to get into my room but it is a 16 hour drive that I have to make, and I've explained this to her. The first time she wouldn't let me check in early even with the early fee, or even sit in the lobby because I had my dog with me so I had to sit in my car for another two hours. This time there was also a huge dead bug in my floor, my air conditioner unit was broken, like the bottom literally fell out of it. And my door didn't lock.

Soft bed, but that's it

I stayed one night on my way to Amarillo. It's a great travel location, but the carpet had black stains on it, my bath towel had a red blemish on it and the orange juice for breakfast was practically water. One night was plenty to know not to stay there again.

Texas vacation

I booked 3 room suite it pictured kitchen area, when I got there no knobs was on stove , they do reconstruction so stuff was everywhere and I stayed upstairs and other guest sat on steps by my room talking loud and smoking most of the night. I ended up just leaving earlier than expected
