tome673on 15/06/2017 03:29If you want fancy go somewhere else. If you want a clean room at a reasonable price this is your place. Perched on a hill overlooking the city of Batesville, this motel was clean and comfortable. If you have mobility problems you need to make sure the staff knows when you make your reservation. There are some uneven walkways and difficult places to walk along the front of the rooms. The breakfast is basic but there is a restaurant located adjacent to the motel, that was packed each morning we were there, if you want something more substantial.

MinnesotaRandyon 19/04/2017 03:43This is a motel rather than a hotel. The room itself is clean. The toilet seat was scratched up and missing some enamel on the seat. The tub had scratch marks on the bottom and a permanent blue scuff. The wall paper was coming off the wall above the sink and the pseudo closet. The room was large. There was a nice recliner in the room. The bed was uncomfortable. It seemed to have some type of squeaky mattress pad on it which made a noise every I'd roll to the other side. The breakfast consisted of apple juice, (a sign stated that the OJ was in the small fridge near the juice machine but there wasn't any) a couple of cereal choices, Yoplait regular yogurt, bagels, bread, muffins and packaged rolls. There was a waffle machine with log cabin syrup which was not next to the other breakfast items but in an odd location.
Old but not bad
April Won 20/02/2017 22:13I never know what to expect at Econo Lodge. Ths is is average. Rather olf feeling to it and they do need to do some updating to the rooms but it was clean and even my smoking room didn't smell bad. Yes, they still have smoking rooms. The bed was good, not great. Room was quite spacious though and I love the brick wall which extends into the bathroom as well. Fridge and microwave in room. Ottoman neeeds replaced or recovered as it was torn in several places but it's just a footstool, right? Only cold fare for breakfast, which is always a negative. Overall, it was an okay stay.

Kandice74on 06/02/2017 03:17I've stayed here several times and have never been disappointed!!! For the price it is wonderful. Very clean. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel. Beds are comfy, wifi is good and it has very nice flat screen tvs.
Need serious remodel
Michael Don 12/12/2016 18:17Stayed for business. I travel alot and stay in alot of hotels. I wasn't Impressed with this hotel at all. Smells musty. Bathroom beware.t in shower is horrible no water pressure Breakfast is a joke. Stale food. Lobby is tiny. No privacy at all. My heater quit working. No maintenance to fix it. Rooms were dark. Sheets dingy. Trouble checking out. Front desk needs help. Go somewhere else if you can. I would not stay here again.
