Hotel Management & Extended Stay
richardkP4752OTon 22/07/2016 23:15I stayed here for 3+ months. During my stay the management made me feel very welcome. Never once, did I ask something of them and they refused. I was hospitalized three times during my stay and the hotel manager even gave my a ride back to the hotel, made sure that I had food and anything else that I needed. They have no bug problems and cleaned my room everyday at a great weekly rate, and I felt safe, there was not one single incident my entire stay,GOD bless them.
Great management and staff!! Thank you!
Lindy Won 27/02/2016 23:24My husband, my 1 year old daughter and I stayed here for over a month while my husband was working in this area. The staff was very friendly and the management went above and beyond on anything that we needed! Very pleased with the service we received. The rooms were fresh and clean and serviced everyday which was great! Our bed was very comfortable and slept great! The location is very convenient to the nearby restaurants and shopping places. This is a very good place to stay and it will definitely be the only place we will be staying when we get back to this area!! A big Thank You to Peter and everybody else here that has done an outstanding job making our stay so very pleasant!! Great customer service goes a long way for me!!
Crap hole of America
MelissaThomas2014on 15/03/2015 02:30My husband was moved to a job at the chemical plant and we needed to find him an extended stay hotel while we looked at places to move. Looking online, the photos seemed decent, clean, and they stated they had breakfast. I called and the woman told me she would hold a full size room for him and I'd only have to pay x amount. She also stated that I bring cash or else it's a 30$ fee for my credit card to be ran. Being that it's 2015, I found this odd, but ok. My husband checks in and the greasy headed but kind man in pj pants tells him they only have a king size room for him to stay in. I was pretty annoyed but he had to start work the next morning and didn't have time to fuss with it. The window on the outside of our room had a huge crack and you could see the cool wet air from the inside mixing with the hot air on the outside. Mold central. We walk in to the smell putting us on our butts. Just looked sketchy. The towels had questionable stains all over and the pillows for this plush king bed we had to fork out an extra 75$ for were so flat and stained that I thought I was on an episode of what would you do. I go to the office and ask for a new room and the man told me that there were no rooms available. I ask him what's up with the room and That the pictures online made this place seem nice and he replies that they've had "new tvs" for 5 years but can't find time to put them up because of how "booked" they are. Ok... Explains why there was a random flat screen mount on the wall. Anyway We didn't stay but laugh about what a crap hole that place is. I hope they can get it together. Also, we never got our free breakfast. OR coffee.

Health Issues
James Don 24/06/2013 23:43I made a reservation online through Priceline and we got to the hotel at approximately 6 pm. When I tried to check in the person behind the desk looked into a spiral notebook looking for a hand written note for my reservation. I told them that I had made the reservation online earlier i the day and gave them the name of the site I had used. I stood in the office for about 20 minutes while they checked by making a call to someone else. They finally gave me a room though they acted as though it was difficult to find an unreserved room All the time I was there a woman was laying on a couch watching a television and never bothered to get up when a guest arrived. I later found out that the manager had left the cleaning people in charge. My wife and I checked into the room only to be greeted by a horrendous odor. The room reeked of mold or mildew. In the interest of being fair we turned the airconditioner on high and left to explore the area hoping that the odor would go away. Upon our return approximately 1 1/2 hours later we found no improvement. Looking at the exterior of the hotel it was apparent that there was little if any maintenance being done as the doors of the units were almost completely void of paint. We called the hotel next door and found an empty room which we booked after checking to see if it was clean and had no health/allergy issues to contend with. The proprieter of the Regency hotel informed us that we had spent too much time in the room so he would not be refunding any money. We left the room exactly as we had entered it with no trash, no use of any ammenities including towels, not even so much as sitting on a chair or bed as it seemed unhealthy to do so. The proprieter still refused to refund our money. We still left even though this was a significant loss for persons on a fixed income. I have contacted my bank and input a claim to have the money refunded and I have also contacted the health department in Bay City Texas to report the health issues at this location. It is my hope that priceline or booking.com will put a program in place that periodically looks into their vendor lists to ensure that they do not put someone in the position of choosing between a cash loss or putting their health at risk. Thank you for your attention
