Entered room..old dirty washcloth hanging on clothes rack. Burnt out light bulbs in desk lamp. Checked behind TV chest to see if it was plugged in. Alas, all types of trash was behind the cabinet!! Bathroom was a mess, all corners needed a good cleaning. At night this place attracted people to wander around and sit in their trucks
This place has seen better days, even for a flop house. This was my first and last visit to an Econo Lodge.

Fresh coat of paint isn't enough

This motel room was adequate, but not much more. The toilet handle was falling off, the carpet was dirty, roaches abounded at night, & the breakfast was poor. The beds were comfortable, & the staff helpful. There was a mini-frig & microwave in the room. The first night we had to take a smoking room b/c there were no non-smoking rms available, & it was awful! The toilet bowl was cracked! The parking lot stank from people dumping out cups of whatever. Overall, a 2-star motel if you want to go cheap!

Joe, the Hotel receptionist was so helpful with all of our queries and just a downright pure Southern hospitable gentleman! No matter what we asked him, he was willing to go over and above to help us with advice on local attractions, specifically the Blue Ridge Parkway!

Just gr8 trip everytime I go. So to start off there is the most amazing clerk there that works nights. His name is Steve....he always has a smile on his face, (one of them contagious smiles that make u smile without u realizing it) he is ALWAYS very polite to me, and no matter what u need he will get it or find out how 2 go about getting whatever u requested to the best of his ability. He is a sweetheart u must meet him. (remember I think he works nights mainly) But going onto the rest of the review....Every room is very clean (and I stay there alot when I go work out there) Theres wi fi, cable, a mini fridge, microwave, and cant forget the continental breakfast in the moring 4rm 6-9. And if ur picky like me there is a waffle house right directly across the street. And a gas station just a stone throw away so if u need cigarettes, snack stuff or drinks to put in ur fridge, ect. Another thing is Its surprisingly a very quiet hotel for being next to such a busy street and the entire staff is very nice.Go w/ top room u can see everything instead of cars u wont be disturbed by people check-in in and out. And there $$$PRICES$$$ are very reasonable for anybody 2 afford and worth every bit of the service they give u. DONT LISTEN TO BAD REVIEWS!!!! Its a gr8 hotel will be coming back again when I'm out that way again. THANK U ECONO LOGE!!! And even more THANK U STEVE for always making me smile even when Ive had the worst days.

The room was just right for our needs. A nice, king size bed for a decent price. Refrigerator and microwave are in the room.
WiFi worked great (despite other reviews - perhaps they don't know about connecting to outside WiFi when not home).
Bed was clean, although it didn't reflect the pictures on the website. This is not a five star hotel, but it is great if you're in town for a show and don't want to spend a fortune.
