What People are saying
I thought the place was condemned.
corunmilaon 22/01/2017 15:22When I pulled in to the executive inn In Bowling Green, I thought the place was condemned. Some of the rooms were boarded up and it Looked nasty. I really dont care what the place looks like as long as there are no bugs.
I asked for a non smoking room, but my room stunk of smoke. There were even burn marks on tthe sink where someone had let a cigarette burn down.
The carpet was nasty, im guessing it had never been cleaned before. I found curly hairs in the bed, and the shower would barely dribble. Took me forever to rinse soap from my hair.
Even tho i will stay at the cheapest place in town, i doubt i would stay here again.
Not very Executive appealing
Conrad Mon 17/02/2016 03:04The name is a bit misleading. However you get what you pay for. We have stayed in worse motels that this one. The room was clean. the bathroom/shower area was a bit strange to say the least. No vent fan in the shower bathroom area. I would avoid this place, unless it's an absolute necessity to stay here.
Absolutely DISGUSTING
NanBeannon 16/04/2015 19:27Would give this place a 0 if possible. We read the reviews but since several years had passed, we thought they had changed. THEY HAVEN'T.
Our room was located in the far building with minimal lighting which right away made me feel uneasy about parking there in the first place. As we walked up the rusted and dilapidated stairs littered with cigarette butts, we saw bikes, shoes and all kinds of items left outside of the rooms in the balcony area which again felt off. We entered our room, noted that the door seemed rickety but thought we could lock the top lock and it would be okay. Next comes our list of reasons why we COULD NOT STAY:
1) shockingly thick fog of cigarette smoke rendering the air unbreathable
2) filthy carpet that obviously had never been cleaned or even vacuumed
3) bed covers and sheets peppered with stains and inexplicably riddled with holes (also gross hairs in the bed, ew)
4) used towels and washcloths with a sticky toilet and a ring in the tub
5) under the bed was at least 1/2 inch of dirt and a soda can, several paper towels and other trash - again NEVER been cleaned
6) last but certainly not least, THERE WAS A COCKROACH IN THE BED SHEETS
We obviously refused to stay there and demanded a refund. Would not recommend anyone stay here even if it is your last resort (we slept in our car instead).
business
mitch hon 28/05/2013 22:50I must agree with the others...This was disgusting...the rooms were shoddy, the management was rude and "shoddy", I was threatened TWICE just for complaining...no FREE HBO as advertised...no WI-FI as advertised, and "NO ICE"...the people at Hardee's next door stated its been that way for months. LAST...I don't know what a bed bug looks like, but there were definitely critters crawling around on the bed...I WOULD ALSO AGREE that this was "THE" worst hotel ever, and I travel every week! Wasn't worth half the low price they lure you in with!
Never again
ETAL11on 26/07/2011 04:04My fiance and I stayed at this hotel just for one night. It was a nightmare. The room was very dirty. I wouldn't even walk on the carpet without shoes. I also refused to sleep under the covers. Luckily I had a blanket & pillow in my car to use, & I washed them as soon as I got home. I know this is a budget hotel, and you get what you pay for, but this was just unacceptable.
