Clean, cold ac, hbo, free wifi that works. Simple breakfast nothing hot like eggs or meat. Very good for the price if you're going to spend most of your time at Darien Lake Park.
We spent two nights and it was comfortable.
Yikes! Needs updating and a good cleaning!
1Travelgirl08on 02/07/2016 22:38Just checked out of the Econo Lodge today. We had booked two rooms as we were a party of 8 visiting the nearby Jam in the Valley for the Sam Hunt Concert.
The good: Beds were super comfortable and so were the pillows. Continental Breakfast was average.
The bad: This hotel looks like it is falling apart. Broken sheetrock, chipped paint, gnawed on looking headboards, terrible looking a/c units. And, it's dirty. We found toilet paper in our toilet, like it hadn't been cleaned from the guest before us. In our room next door, there was a piece of moldy bread behind the night stand between the two beds. At breakfast this morning, my daughter had a bowl of cereal that was in a larger bowl then what was on the counter. My girlfriend that was with me who is in a wheelchair asked if I could get her a bowl of cereal that was the size of my daughters. When I asked my daughter where she found the larger bowl she noted in the drawer below the other bowls. Not seeing any signs that said, "Do not open drawers" I opened the drawer to get my friend a larger bowl. Across the room came the Continental Breakfast Nazi who yells out, "Do Not Open The Drawers"!! I could not believe the unprofessionalism by this woman. What a way to make your guests feel welcomed an appreciated.
Please note that it is not cheap to stay at this hotel. Unfortunately because it is so close to Darien Lake, they take advantage of charging you well for a hotel that isn't worth more than $60 a night.
Good overnight stay
Chester329on 10/06/2016 21:26We found this to be a very good two-star motel. The check-in and overall service (Marion) was professional and friendly. Our room was of good size and clean. The breakfast was standard fare with the addition of fresh fruited yogurt. Nice touch! We will stay again.
Would have been ok but room reeked of must/mold
Davis4t3on 20/02/2016 14:04Staff was friendly and hotel was clean. Bed was comfortable. Not much selection for breakfast but the coffee was good.
I'm not sure if it's just the one room that smells bad or if all of them do but the smell in 120 is overpowering. I was tired from driving and it was late so I just dealt with it. Definitely wouldn't want to be stuck in this room on vacation or for more than just a quick overnight stop. I didn't see any mold so what caused the smell is a mystery, maybe coming from heater.
