I had a non-smoking single room on the first floor, brought my dog.

Positives:
They allow dogs with a $15 fee;
Good customer service from front desk;
Clean room, lobby, and grounds;
Bed was comfortable, pillows fluffy;
Room window opens and has screen;
Refrigerator and microwave in room;

Negatives:
Upon first entering room, it smelled musty but I also smelled a perfumed smell that was probably intended to mask the musty odor. I opened the window to let fresh air in. After that, I never noticed the musty smell again.

No bathtub! There is only a stand-up shower.

Lighting is dim/cheap. They have blackout curtains but they don't full block out the sunlight.

No thermostat in the room. The heating / cooling device knobs are worn so there is no indicator of where the knob is pointing to for adjusting the temperature.

Neutral:
Decor is traditional and colors are heavy in burgundy, have some mauve.

There is a bible in the nightstand drawer.

TWO week stay

I was working and stayed here for 2 weeks. It was quiet most of the times.
The room was OK. Furniture was old. The stuffed chair in the room was old, you sit in it and you sink to the ground in it. The bed was OK. No bathtub, but a shower.
They have smoking rooms, which I did not get.
The people working were nice, but not overly nice. I never got to see the breakfast,but I believe is very limixed.
Walmart is only a mile or so away, just one more off ramp. Burger King is nearest , walking distance. McDonald's and Taco Bell are near. Save ALOT store was close.
If you have shipping to do Mail and more is not too far. The girl I there was very plesant.

Clean and comfortable

Was in the area for a hunting trip, was clean and comfortable, did have small fridge as well as microwave, coffee pot was just for individual cup at a time so we ended up buying a coffee pot up make enough for a group of 4. Beds & pillows were comfortable. Staff was very friendly .

Check in was good. Lobby and hallways are kept up pretty nice. Didn't get to use the breakfast, sorry. I had two cats with me and wanted a ground floor, smoking and got a handicapped room. I made it know, if the room was needed for a handicapped person I would be willing to move, but I wanted a smoking room on the ground floor. When I entered the room the horrible overwhelming smell of smoke was very powerful. Even myself as a smoker, it was BAD. I tried Frebreeze and that didn't put a dent in it. I used my wax melting light for 3 days straight. The smell finally subsided after the first day. The room was decently clean. A minor flaw in a light fixture was the only other problem, which I just didn't turn on that light. Loads of cable channels which was great for a three day weekend of freezing weather stay. Desk microwave and fridge were standard, towels were good. Staff was great until check out. I wanted to pay in cash but they had already charged my credit card and it was 30 minutes before check out, 11am. I had cash in hand, but he wouldn't reverse charges or even suggest it. He said there was nothing to do so I left. I might stay here again in a pinch, but probably not. Parking was a small lot, but ok. No security on outside to inside doors on north end of building. No elevator for a 3 floor building. There is a luggage cart fashioned out of piping, but it worked well.

Stinky room, shady staff

This is the second time we have stayed here. The first time wasn't so bad. This time...First, we arrived for check in at 3:30 and our room was not ready. On the positive, the receptionist sent the housekeepers to clean it right away. When we started carrying our things up to the room, there was a housekeeper sitting on the stairs on her phone who barely noticed us. When we got to the top there were more housekeepers gathered at the housekeeping room. I know this is judgemental, they looked like they were plucked straight out of juvenile detention! On the outside of our door it said "Hot Tub Suite". They need to take that sign down. There is no hot tub. The room was enormous! It had a king size bed and a smaller twin that I think was supposed to act as the couch. The bed was on one side of the room and the tiny tv was waaayyyy over on the other side of the room. The room smelled like smoke. We discovered that, even though we asked for a non smoking room, they put us in a smoking room. The bed was okay and the rest of the room was tolerable. When we left for anything, we put the Do not Disturb sign on our door as we did not trust the housekeepers. Every time we saw them they were smoking. Probably won't stay here again. Oh, and PS...Wifi very slow. Very slow!
