A nice place to stay
lifesgood83on 14/07/2017 00:15This is not your four or five star hotel. Definitely look elsewhere if you're looking for a bit of luxury. The rooms are dated, bathrooms as well. The staff is very friendly. A very small office but everything looks clean and neat. We didn't use the pool so I'm not sure how that is. We did have the breakfast provided each of the three mornings that we stayed. The breakfast is minimal ...coffee, some pastries , some bagels , yogurt, cereal. There isn't any hot food so if you're looking for eggs and bacon then you better go out. Prices are reasonable for Lake George and of course we were there during July which is one of their Peak months. Our price was 179 per night. And we used the facility just for sleeping. We were out and about during the day. Convenient to walk downtown. It's just a short walk to some of the shops. There is a shuttle bus that runs maybe every 20 minutes or so for $1 and this brings you down to the shopping areas and to the beach.
Comfortable, Cozy...
KieranJOon 26/06/2017 16:24Have stayed here twice, and loved it. This is a family owned Econolodge, and when I say the folks here are friendly, I mean friendly. I was welcomes both times when I came, had comfortable and well kept rooms. A plus is having a nice spacy area outside where you can sit and just watch the world go by. Also have a nice pool, though I did not partake. One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Thank you so much!!

Vern Kon 20/06/2017 21:29All of the employees at Econo Lodge was great. You needed something, they help you right away. All of the employees was very polite. I had a great time there. Keep looking forward to going there every year. I think this makes it my 5th visit so far. Thank you Econo Lodge.
Americade 2017
on 17/06/2017 23:38Just returned from attending Americade 2017 and stayed at Econo lodge Downtown. Staff was friendly and courteous. Great spot to attend Americade. Hotel and room were clean and in good condition. Good variety at breakfast. Some fruit at breakfast would have been a nice addition to the variety. Easy walk to the downtown area. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Never tried the pool.
Just opened for the season
Richard Oon 17/06/2017 22:09All of the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and NO sign of bugs! The building is older but they have kept it up nicely, not modern. The location was convenient for walking in town and to the lake. The off season rates were very good. The breakfast was the standard Waffles etc.
