First time staying at an Econo Lodge.
kimberlyrQ6820HVon 02/07/2017 01:57Price was a good value. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We came down for breakfast just before closing, but there was still a good selection. We ate and as we were relaxing, enjoying our coffee in the breakfast room, the breakfast attendant asked us if we'd like anything else before she put things away, which we thought was very nice. I only wish there had been an elevator because the stairs are a little hard on my knees and the bed wasn't the greatest for comfort, but I've slept in far worse.
Not bad for the price
Kevin Ron 23/02/2017 02:54Room was smaller than I am used to, and it was freezing in here when I first arrived. The place lacks any vending machines except for one pop machines. They do sell a couple candy bars and chips at the front desk. Room looks nice and is clean, however te heat ducts from an early 80s public elementary school kind of ruin the look for me. Overall, I do like the place! Bed is comfy and it is quiet. For the great price, Robin and I would stay here!
Great time to relax!

We had had a long day of travelling and this place provided us with a clean, quiet, comfortable facility to rest before continuing on our journey. The hot tub looked inviting. Breakfast fare was limited but adequate.
First Time
loonqueenon 28/09/2016 15:36First visit to an Econo Lodge. If this one is any indication, we would definitely stay again. The young lady who greeted us was pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The towels weren't quite as nice as a pricier hotel, but they did the job. There was a fridge and microwave. Breakfast didn't have a lot of selections. The breakfast area was hard to navigate - tiny space. They had a hot tub and sauna, but we didn't use them. We would return.
Rates doubled due to State Fair?????
V5810RJkevinjon 26/09/2016 14:06I've stayed here several times in the past; however, I definitely will not stay here again. This room usually costs about $60 a night, yet they had the audacity to charge me double because it was State Fair week! I couldn't believe it and questioned the clerk as to why this was since I had stayed there multiple times for half the price?? She answered that the fairgrounds were right next door and this was a prime location for out of town folks visiting for the fair. I'm a business traveler who visits this area roughly 20 times per year and the will definitely not get one more penny from me. I understand charging a little more, but doubling the rates for someone who stays there regularly is unforgivable.
