My husband stay there on may 26th 2017. It had used needles out side in the ash tray. Extremely dirty room. Rubber bands, dirt, cigarette ashes on the floor. Bed was broken and dirty, pillows smelled and were so gross and old they were yellow, sink was clogged and had mud or probably sewage in the sink, cigarette burns everywhere ....oh and no smoke alarm. BEDBUGS. Stay away from this place

cranefly722on 01/01/2017 21:11

We found bedbugs in our room. When we informed the employee at the front desk he didn't even seem surprised. He suggested we try to find a room at the hotel next door.. When we asked for a refund he told us to come back at 10 the next morning because he wasn't able to do it. When we came back at 10 they told us to come back at noon.. Basically gave us the run-around and we had to call several times and stop by and talk to the employees three separate times before they would give us a refund.
And if that's not bad enough the room was also dirty, the furniture had stains on it, and the lock on the door did not seem to work properly. You could just push the door open even when it was locked... Very glad we did not end up sleeping in this room.

Car got broken into while parked in lot

Stephanie Eon 26/10/2016 16:22

I paid $20 to park in their parking lot for the Blazer game and got my car broken into!! I get it's Portland and there is not much I can do, but their lack of security is definitely a huge factor at fault (very dim parking lot, no one patrolling the area, etc.) Been living in this city for 13 years.. Sad to see Portland is turning into such a scum-town. I guess this goes to show even if you park in one of the closest spots to the game and even pay one of the higher fees, you still are somehow in charge of making sure no one busts out your window in the 3 hours you're gone.

Dirty, possibly dangerous and definitely not worth the stop

JRonaldTon 29/06/2016 21:57

With several young men dressed poorly lounging in the small parking area in front of the motel, we were apprehensive as we checked in around 8 pm. Climbing to the third floor we passed several rooms with doors open. The rooms were jammed with personal effects and mothers with children, most likely long term section 8 tenants. Due to the people leaning over the railings, the open doors to shabby rooms, and those lingering in the parking area below, we chose to lock the doors and check the window.
Our room was well worn with a few holes that had been punched in the walls and a door frame to the bathroom that had been poorly replaced after probably having been kicked in. I snagged my sleeve on one of the finish nails that had not been pounded in all the way on the door frame moulding. It was late and the room was dirty, so we went to sleep and left early in the morning.

False Advertising, Expedia

Jeremy Bon 20/06/2016 07:40

First of all, Expedia had a great (false) picture that they claimed was the "Portland Expo Center Inn". In reality, it is an Econo Lodge with stained carpets and mattresses, and people outside talking and being loud late at night. I didn't feel safe and had to leave.
