Larry Con 15/06/2017 16:03Although this motel looks a bit rough on the exterior, our newly renovated room was clean and pleasant. The white bathroom was pristine and the bed very comfortable. Our breakfast was a bit skimpy but waffles were available and muffins, toast, and a couple dry cereals, along with juices and fresh apples. All in all, it was a great sleep for the money!

Tarzan-7on 05/06/2017 05:31For years Econo-Lodge has been my stopover point when traveling from southern California to Colorado. Why, you ask? Well, one reason of course is the price. With a AAA discount, my wife and I paid $45.99 for a room – with tax the total came to $52.11.
Another reason is that the rooms are reasonably secure. Unlike most motels, where room access is directly from the outside, any intruder would have to pass by the front desk to get to you. The back doors are only opened with a room key. The added security gives extra piece of mind.
Oh – when I told the manager that because of my hip surgery I cannot negotiate stairs very well, let alone lug suitcases up them, he upgraded my room at no additional charge. That’s very nice.
They do provide a continental breakfast beginning at 6:00 a.m. if you need some carbs to get you started in the morning.
So, it’s a reasonable place to stop off for a night, or longer if you want to catch the local sights and events. BTW, you may get a better room rate is you call them direct instead of going through Expedia, Trivago, etc.
Friendly desk clerks
suzievaldezon 29/05/2017 02:15We arrived very late at night and were very tired. The desk clerk was pleasant and very quick in checking us in. Even though it was late (midnight) there were doors slamming and it was hard to sleep as walls and doors seemed very thin. I will say the bed was comfortable and pets are allowed for $10. The waffles in the morning were very good and the morning desk clerk also very nice.
It was fine for a night
Cynhoffon 19/05/2017 21:50It is slightly more expensive and slightly nicer than the other roadside accommodations. It seems like they are remodeling, but my room was fine. They offer an acceptable free breakfast with waffles & toast etc. Yogurt would have been nice.

joholla72240on 14/05/2017 21:31Very clean and comfortable room. The manager, Earnest, was helpful by introducing us to the hotel facilities and with the restaurants we liked in the Gallup, New Mexico area. The breakfast was very good as was our checkout. It was a very pleasant stay.
