mitzieinflon 08/06/2017 20:15We don't usually choose Econo Lodge when traveling but this was in the perfect location for our purpose and it had great reviews, so.... it was quaint, the room was small, but the service was stellar and the entire place was CLEAN! It's conveniently located-- great jumping off spot for heading downtown or to Summerville. The breakfast is sparse and almost completely refined carbs, but the coffee is excellent. We enjoyed the pool, and they even provided extra pool towels! All things considered, we would stay there again!

Starla Non 07/06/2017 22:24If you dont have certain needs this is an ok place to stay. The staff was nice. The room smelled weird.. like musty/moldy..The beds were too hard for me. The Breakfast was all carbs. Nothing hot. That was disappointing. It seems to be a place men who work construction stay on out of town jobs.
Disappointed stay. Desk but no desk chair...only a wooden chair with very little padding on seat.
PhyllisD534on 24/05/2017 21:01Room has a comfortable bed, tv-fridge-microwave, desk and excellent WiFi access. However there are only 2 hard back chairs in the room...very uncomfortable for sitting let alone trying to work for hours at the desk. I had to move desk away from wall to plug in my computer. I feel if there is a desk in the room, there should be a comfortable desk chair. There was adequate lighting.
Very noisy with trains going by 24 hours a day plus from highway traffic. There was also a noise in my room that sounded like windows were being washed by a high pressure hose (windows were not being washed). This noise went on day and night. I have no idea what that could be from.
Breakfast: Only 2% milk with no waffles or hot items. Definitely, a continental breakfast at a basic level.
Management is friendly and mean well.
Ok for a quick overnight--if you don't mind train noise.
Holly Mon 24/05/2017 17:55I was expecting it to be a bit nicer due to the other reviews I had read, but it wasn't "nasty," necessarily. It was your average room (a la Motel 6 kind of average). We only stayed here because our plane landed so late that it wasn't worth spending more money on an extra airbnb night. We missed breakfast by 30 minutes (they close it up at 9:30 am), but thought we might be able to get coffee, but one of their workers was in front of us and helped himself to the rest of it. The front desk person wasn't helpful in directing us to a nearby coffee shop so we just Googled it. You get what you pay for...

Carol Kon 24/05/2017 16:38This was our 3rd time staying at the EconoLodge in Goose Creek, SC, with a large group and as usual it was an excellent stay. Pete and the entire front desk staff were very accommodating to everyone that attended our function. We look forward to staying there next year again.
