Better Than Most Cheap Chain Hotels - Large Rooms
annewilli89on 10/07/2017 21:38We came here to stay after a concert. When we checked in you could tell the person at the desk really wanted to leave because her shift was over, she acted almost like we were inconveniencing her. We got to our room and it was a smoking room, so I went back to the desk. Again the employee acted like we were inconveniencing her, but I reserved a non-smoking room and politely asked to be moved. They did it, then she said, "we will take care of that later," out loud. I asked what she meant by that and she just gave me the weirdest rudest stare and said she was not talking to me.
Got to the new room, smelled nice, was fairly clean and very large. There was a couch, flat screen TV and a king sized bed. The "comforter" blanket was not really a blanket at all and the thin blanket was not very thick, so if you get cold you will want to ask for another. It was a fairly quiet night, and the we had no problems from then on out.
The only other thing about this hotel was that they stated that they were environmentally friendly and recycled, but the "dishes" for breakfast foods were Styrofoam plates/bowls and plastic disposable utensils. They were not recycling these items and the only recycling they had was at the front door for bottles. The food was very limited and not very good at all.
There was a vending machine that had a few organic options in it for the traveler who didn't want to go out for dinner.
This was a very average hotel with very average staff and sub-average breakfast food.
Basic hotel but WONDERFUL Staff!!

Staying with family & friends has its own pros & cons, so we added a day to our scheduled hotel stay and we were both pleasantly surprised. We stayed in a simple room with fridge & microwave, the bed was comfortable; we really experienced no issues. The room(especially the bathroom) could use an upgrade, but the staff was so pleasant that any simple issue was immediately addressed! We enjoyed every minute of our stay!!
Oldie but goody
Belle Zon 10/04/2017 12:36The room overall was a surprise. A bit "used", but a lot like staying at your aunt and uncle's place. Very comfortable, with a refrigerator and microwave and decent television. For being just outside of Atlanta, the price was good. Easy to find, with a great restaurant, The Marietta Diner, about a mile away.
Don't waste your money
Meshona Hon 30/03/2017 22:14This hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. Thankfully, our room did not. The bedspread was stained. The couch in the room was falling apart and stained. We pulled it out for our son to sleep on, and there was a huge hole in it that looked like a mouse had chewed. We left early to get on the road and didn't try the breakfast.

Cindy Oon 26/03/2017 03:37This is the first time I have stayed in a room with a handicapped accessible shower. Fresh paint. Nicely furnished room. Large flat screen tv. Microwave and refrigerator. Close to Atlanta. This is a Comfort Inn room at a Econolodge price.
