Decently priced hotel
Amit Bon 26/06/2017 02:36We needed a place to stop overnight at Portland during our visit to the city. We chose this hotel because of the reviews and the price point. We were not disappointed. The rooms were clean and spacious. We have used Choice Hotels in the past and they are always good value for money. The staff was very professional and efficient.
The price point is great and doesn't need you to shell out a lot of cash for an overnight stay. The breakfast is pretty basic.

SuncoastTravelerson 06/06/2017 02:13I really wanted to give this place a better rating, but couldn't justify 4 stars . . . they lost the fourth star when I stepped in the shower and left dirty footprints on the floor and realized just how dirty the carpet must be. The floor in our ground floor room was squeeking, uneven, and you could feel it move! The light by the door was flashig on and off enough to cause a seizure! They offered us a new room, but it was closer to the renovation going on . . so no thanks. All in all, it was the best deal around, just don't expect much.
Clean but not in a good area
Cynthia Con 23/05/2017 01:28It's mainly the location that made me give this motel a poor review. The price was good, room was clean and newly renovated. Staff was nice. But I was surprised that it was in a sketchy area based on other reviews. As a female traveling alone I didn't feel particularly safe. Lots of homeless people around. Also, they advertised a "full breakfast" but it was the skimpiest Continental breakfast I have seen.
Great Value for the Price
Civilguyon 08/05/2017 01:56We stopped for brief overnight stay and did not want to drop $120 or more for local lodging with similar rating. We stayed in #220 upstairs. It's clear that the property has been undergoing updates. The furniture's in good condition, the carpet is newer.
The showers are hot and there were four sets of clean towels and washcloths. The shower curtain is the nice lightweight cloth type on a sturdy curved stainless rod. The shower tile and tub are sparkling clean. It appears that the housekeeping is spot on.
They were very pleasant and friendly when I checked in at 11:00 at night (sorry!) and pleasant again in the morning.
As an older property, the sound insulation between rooms in't perfect. but we heard nothing from other rooms until 7:00 or so in the morning. It's clean value lodging; I'm grateful for places like this and appreciate what people put into maintaining and updating them so I don't have to break the bank to get a good night's sleep on the road.
Nice stay
kf7ezon 24/04/2017 18:47Room was clean. Had a microwave and fridge in room. Laundry close by. Many restaurants close by. Easy to get to. Staff was friendly. Free WiFi. They have a small breakfast area with toast muffins and bagels. Would stay again.
