Really liked this place....
WaltonTigeron 14/08/2017 03:46After a bad experience in North Carolina earlier in the week, I was hesitant to stay at another EconoLodge. We stopped at this one on a family outing. Very clean room, the pool was outstanding, and the staff was attentive. The beds were clean and comfortable. We would have no problem staying here again.

Diane Hon 16/03/2017 12:25We checked in on 2/11/17. YIKES. Did not appear to be dirty and then we saw bugs. It was a non-smoking room. LOL, the bedspread was covered with burn marks all over. After we got everything in the room, we left to look for new house around there. When we got back, after dinner, we walked in and it smelled like bug spray. YUCK. It was late and we did not want to find another place to stay. In the morning, we saw ants in sink area and spiders had a grand time spinning their webs in the bathroom. The mold around the tub are was gross. Folks, do not stay their. This is a warning!!!

34bethson 02/03/2017 03:02Waited too long to get reservations closer to Camden with double beds. So booked here. Not very clean. At of gaping space around entry door. At least the beds were comfortable & not very noisy, we stayed on side away from highway.

DressageDineron 12/10/2016 18:56OLD MOTEL They state it was renovated but it is in serious need of a deep cleaning of walls and bathroom fixtures and replacement of worn out now rubbery textured bedding and cottage cheese textured pillows.AC worked fine but mold smell exists upon use. We HAD to stay here because we were evacuated in a Hurricane and had a pet and had no other choice that had a vacancy. I Clorox wiped the surfaces I could reasonably reach and I can't describe what was on the wipes. I actually purchased a fly-swatter to use daily in the room. stained yellow/brown drips on the bathroom walls way too high up for the tallest Great Dane to have created. Brown crust on the floor behind the toilet. Positives: The front desk staff is pleasant and does what they can. The housekeeping staff provided clean sheets and towels and also seemed very nice. But the housekeepers can't do heavy building cleaning and maintenance needed. The pool looked like a Petrie dish and there is no laundry facility. "Breakfast" is in the registration area and consists of 2 dispensers of sugary cereal and coffee. There is a Waffle house across the parking lot which has ample parking and a gas station. We were just happy to have a roof that didn't leak in a horrible storm. Stay elsewhere if you can, until the owner takes a steam jenny to the walls and provides new bedding and pillows.
Fine for a weekend

There are a microwave and frigds for the food and draws and hangers for the clothes.
Nice helpfull staff, clean bathroom..
Breakfast is not impressive but there are the waffle house and a tank station one minute away.. a small poll which we didn't try...
