Great Employees, Needs TLC
RevCCCon 02/01/2017 17:37This is an economy hotel that with a little TLC (and I do mean a little), could be 3 or 4 stars.
Pros
Location, is close to everything.
The employees were exceptionally caring and supportive.
The lobby and breakfast area was clean and inviting, good breakfast!
Had a refrigerator and microwave in the room.
Had a new HDTV that worked well.
Cons
While linens WERE clean, they had holes from smokers (our room was non smoking), this included the sheets and luggage throw.
They needed to shampoo the carpets due to deep staining.
They need to move furniture when vacuuming, there was debris and dead insects on the floor behind the lamp and chair...dead ones only, saw NO live insects.
The bathtub had minor mold under the soap tray.
If you are looking for a cheap place to stay, this will work. It was NOT BAD but it needs a little work. And truly, with very little work this would have been a much higher review.
Afforable, clean and friendly
CzarsLadyon 22/12/2016 14:15We travel a lot for business and we stayed here for a few months. They have special weekly rates. The pool was always clean. The room were clean and the staff was always helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable. I could call the front desk day or night and they would bring me whatever I needed for the room, sheets and towels and such. They new us by our names. The breakfast was wonderful with a large selection of different foods from waffles and muffins to eggs and sausauge. We called this place "home". We loved the location and how welcome we felt there. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Hairs on towels and in bed
Lynn Ron 26/09/2016 01:01Found hairs on towel and a small black thing that looked like a rat dropping??? Bed had pet hairs in it. I felt like something was crawling on me all night. Drunk people with pants hanging down outside. I will never be back. At least the front desk was nice. The rest was icky.
WARNING: NASTY NASTY NASTY NASTY
Brandon252on 21/07/2016 23:13This place was a dump. I did not expect them to roll out the red carpet but wow..... We drove 8 hours from NC because I was working near Griffin. When I walked into the lobby a gentleman was in the lobby hanging out with his pants hanging below his buttocks.....at that point we should just have left. We were tired....so we stayed. Big mistake...very big mistake. It was 2am and we checked in and I have to be at work at 6:30am. I thought I would get a few hours of sleep....I thought wrong. #1. The A/C blew hot air out of it when it was turned to a/c and set to cold. #2. The carpets were extremely dirty...could have possibly at on point been a crime scene in there. #3 The toilet Still had DOODY SPLATTER on it. Yes you are reading that right DOODY SPLATTER. And lets not leave #4 out.... As I was laying in bed I saw something move on the wall...we had a visitor....a ROACH. We killed him so now I think things are crawling on me. A little while later another, and another, and another. Well as you can see I did not get any sleep that night.
Nothing like the pictures
Juliecuadon 07/09/2015 00:55This hotel was rated 3 to 4 star online when I booked it. The pictures showed a nice pool and decent clean room. Unfortunately that is not what we got. First impression was the neighbor hood wasn't the best and I saw multiple lingering creepy men outside. We booked two rooms one with two standards and one with a king and sofa. The one with double standards a/c was broke so they had to change rooms. Both rooms were dirty. You couldn't walk on the carpet bare foot or your feet would get dirty. The second night out a/c broke so we had to change rooms. We got locked out of the room as they only give you one key. When my husband went to the lobby to ask for a new key the lady simply gave him one without asking for iD. Mind you the hotel was under my name. He could have been anyone and she would have given it to him. The ice machine was broken. The gym was closed the whole time. And the pool filled with ghetto people who don't even rent a room. DO NOT BOOK!
