My overnight stay

The room was nice, we really enjoyed the suite room for our most recent stay and will be staying there again in the near future. The only thing that was a negative was the bathtub had a pretty severe crack and felt weak right in the center of it.

My family was returning from our spring break trip and stayed at this motel. We had travelled late into the night and found a room here. We were told we got the last double nonsmoking room. We lugged all our bags upstairs and opened the door to find stains on the carpeting and on the bedding. It was late and we might of overlooked that until we turned on more lights and found dog feces on the floor. Interesting house keeping couldn't locate this when vacuuming. Hmm. So I went back to the front desk and explained about the excrement. The attendent did not seemed surprised. I asked for a nonsmoking king room, since they were out of doubles. Our family of 4 would make due. The attendent located one on first floor. I had problems entering the room and had to force the door open with my shoulder. In this room we found the headboard had fallen off the wall and there were patches where it once was. We also found the coffee pot screwed to the wall but there was no carafe to make coffee! Also the iron was no where to be found. I also found it odd that a Jacuzzi tub with a shower was in the main room. I have never seen a motel room with the shower located next to the bed! Great privacy! Keep the light off in the shower or you will damage your children by what they might see through the thin curtain. I would tell those traveling through to keep going. Do not stay here. $89 way too much for this motel. If we had to do it again we would have slept in the car!

Very Underwhelming

The staff was nice but the lodge is in need of updating. Ceiling falling down in the bathroom and two of the lights did not work. Stay here if you only need to stay a night somewhere on your way to somewhere else.

Disappointing

The front desk attendant is very nice. He was helpful in every way he could. We requested a room that was handicap accessible. We were told the handicap accessible room was under maintenance. That's not good. Fortunately, the attendant was able to get us a room that was on the ground floor and minimal distance from the vehicle. The room is ok, for the most part. The toilet constantly runs. That is annoying when trying to sleep. I went to try and fix the issue only to find a used maxi pad in the holding tank of the toilet. That is disgusting and I'm sickened to think what other surprises this place has.
