Be Warned...Stay away ! ! !

This was my first time staying at this Wyndham property, will be my last. I tend to prefer discount hotels as the ROI is pretty low since most of my time in the room is spent sleeping, and I arrive late and leave early. I understand that margins are slim in the hotel business, however, it appears that discount rate hotels use this as an excuse to allow properties to deteriorate. This particular property I struggle to find anything l like about it because there was so much wrong. After parking, I noticed beer and liquor bottles and trash in the area, Easily fixed. The exterior of the building looked ok (There’s something) When checking in, I asked about crediting the stay on my Wyndham account. The owner said don’t worry about it, it all happens automatically. Since we all know this is BS, that should have been a sign. The room (119) had a huge mirror across one wall. My wife commented it was like you would see in an interrogation room in the movies. There were many light switches in the room, but there was only 1 light that worked. There was a very large refrigerator in the room, but in serious need of defrosting and was kind of noisy, the curtains were falling off. Stains on the sink. Huge gaps in the bathroom. I cannot do this any more. You have been warned. I do not recommend this property

Good value my bed was big and comfy, room had nice flat screen. Clean room and bathroom I always check for hair couldn't find any. Friendly service and very pet friendly. Its location is great its not far from wheeling wv and more than enough options for food. Dollar store across the road gas station and mall close by. They have truck parking. I recommend making reservations. Over all best knights inn I've ever stayed in I would stay again.

I made reservations on line thru the choice company. Got my reservations printed when it did it came up 1 queen bed for 3 people. I called hotel immediately and told them I had hit 2 queen beds. I was informed by "Tom" not a problem he would change and take care of things. He didn't. Mr Patel made me pay $35 extra in cash to get room with 2 beds. Told me to accept it or leave. I had to stay no choice. They said only the hot tub was out of order on site. But so is Lounge didnt tell us that till next day when we asked. They leave doors open and let stray cats run in and out. At 730 am there was cat poop and pee in the breakfast area. Front desk was told and they told us it would be cleaned up after breakfast. NASTY NASTY NASTY.

We were travelling from Washington DC going home and we needed a place to sleep at 12:30 AM, the place looked nice and clean outside."Never judge a book by its cover" is so true. As soon as you come in the building, it was HOT 'coz the owners are trying to save money so the AC was not on.I asked for a non- pet or upper room due to allergies, did not get it and we were put in room 103! OH MY😨!The smell as soon as you walk in! Stale, dank, moldy, old sweat smell! I was about ready to walk out but my husband was really tired from all the driving and insisted we stay and just go to bed!My kids and I were not able to go to sleep until 2:30 AM, had to crank up the AC to mask the smell, found a dead stink bug by the window and found another one crawling up the ceiling!There were cracks on the walls and ceiling, that I stared at while laying down thinking that something is gonna pop out of it.A cabinet door fell off when opened.I had to check the bed for bugs before my kids would lay on it and they had to sleep on sweatshirt with Hoodies on, pants and socks, otherwise they won't lay down!After 5 hours of sleep, we were up, ready to GET OUT OF THERE!!!Pls.,pls., spend that extra $20-$40 and stay somewhere else, it will be worth every penny!My hubby told the clerk manning the desk upon checking out about the bugs and all he can say is "sorry about that".The owners really need to CARE and update the place and an Inspector needs to come and check out the place!It needs to be condemned if owners are just ignoring the reviews!!!STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE for your own sake!

the pictures of several cockroaches in reviews show it all ... do not stay here spend the extra money at the holiday inn
