Inspector027on 10/05/2017 20:07I stayed here for two nights, and right away it was very clear to me that in order to get things done, you need to pick and choose who you speak too.
I had a couple minor issues with my stay, but the woman at the front desk, who seemed to be there in the afternoon to early evening, was incredibly responsive, owning up to the problems, and getting them resolved. That's why I have still scored this hotel highly. She did a great job. Unfortunately, there was this other guy who could not answer a basic question (about the hotels rate for a day in June I was inquiring about, he seemed to insist on answering with the rate for the current night. I eventually gave up and waited for the other desk employee), and was never at the front desk. He seemed to take pride in putting up his "call 0 for assistance" sign, and then when you did, he answered as if he was at the front desk. Then, he emerges from the entranceway in the middle of the corridor. This happened twice. Two others times I walked in during his shift, and not actually needing him, he was also away from the desk. I never, at any time, walked by the desk and saw him actually behind it. I was in the first room from the front desk, so I did walk by the desk often. It was either the very friendly woman, or "the sign".
There were cleanliness issues. Nothing big, but stains on the walls, and the bathroom floor was not cleaned very well.
At checkout, a different female clerk was working and she too was exceptional, and got this score up from 3 stars to 4 stars. I will return, but hope to see more of the good side then the bad when I do.

ANDREW Mon 17/04/2017 06:31The Econo Lodge hotel at New Windsor was perfect for us: a clean room, breakfast, lovely staff, and great location more over only 10 mins to the Stewart International Airport. I highly recommend this Hotel.

DANIELLE Aon 19/12/2016 20:40This must be a family run business which is fine but all the guys in the front didn't speak English very well. They have no customer service skills and have the nerve to give me an attitude!!! They walk around with no shoes, nobody at the front desk or answers the phone!! Hallway had a weird smell and wifi was not working.
P.S- The morning I check-out there was a non family member working the front and I told her of my problems. She did apologize several times and tried to offer me a discount for the next stay which was very nice of her but unfortunately I wouldn't stay there if they paid me!!

rkeator1on 06/11/2016 21:17Room was clean, beds comfortable, pillows were too soft. The morning breakfast bar was so, so. Not very handicap friendly. No bench seat in tub. The price was okay for what you got. I wouldn't rush to stay there again.
