Fabulous find in small town
Rosemary Lon 21/08/2017 04:22Was pleasantly surprised with this motel. Have been on the road for 10 days and this was the most comfortable room. The A/C went bad but the maintenance man was right in to fix it in 5 minutes. The bed was so comfortable that had no trouble sleeping, woke up with out the usual aches and pains. Pool was perfect. Breakfast was exactly what we needed and the staff were all friendly and kind. Would surely return!

Cindee Oon 20/08/2017 20:16The room was nice sized, had microwave and frig. Everything was really clean including the floor, bed was super comfy. Had a balcony that looked out on the swimming pool. The landscaping was native plus flower pots and a fountain. Definitely will stay again
Best Hotel On Our Trip
Marty Mon 06/08/2017 00:56After laughing a $129 price for a room at the Best Western, we stopped at the Econo Lodge. The price was only $60. We were shown the closest ground level room and took it! The room was HUGE with 2 queen beds, table & 2 chairs, fridge, microwave, huge bath area & sliding glass door to go out back, if we wanted to. We even got a discount at the great Mexican restaurant next door. They were doing some remodeling in the lobby, but didn't affect our stay. Breakfast could have used some eggs/bacon/sausage, but overall, a big selection. Will definitely stay there again !

I will stay here again if I'm in the area.
I called a few hours before arriving because I wasn't sure if I was going to press on for Albuquerque or stay in Socorro. Keith, the person working the front desk, was very patient and helpful.
After we arrived, it was obvious from the outside appearance, that it was a modest hotel.
Once we got to our room, it quickly became obvious that a lot of care and attention have been put into the motel. It looked like they recently remodeled. There was granite on the countertop in the bathroom and the main room was nicely appointed with a microwave, refrigerator and two tables.
The air-conditioner worked well, but took a while to cool the room as it was a warmer and more humid day.
The beds were comfortable and well-made.
The included breakfast lacked hot eggs, but had waffles, oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, several bread choices, coffee and juice.
There was also a pool, and it would've been the perfect evening to use it, but I was too tired to take a dip.
If you're looking for fancy, this is probably not your place. But if you're looking for a solid value - quiet, smoke free and clean. This is the place.

740vanon 12/07/2017 00:48The lady at check in was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with everything you need. The property is older, not new, so don't expect new but the room I had was nice. Breakfast was good with the usual selections for a complementary breakfast. Probably the best value in Socorro. I would stay here again.
