Don't bother staying here
AronA78on 14/06/2017 00:28It was a big mistake staying here but we really had no choice every other hotel was booked. The only nice thing I can say about this hotel was the front desk people were very nice. First we were down in the basement, there is no security on the hotel you don't need your room key to enter the back entrance, the Internet did not work in my room when I ask the front desk about it the girl working did not believe me. Like I am making it up. One of the mornings the water was shut off it would have been nice for the front desk to call the affected rooms but nope find out when you are halfway into your morning shower, thanks. The room was dirty did not look like they have ever cleaned the carpets, the blanket on one of the beds had burn holes in it, only 2 towels for a family of 4, towels had holes in them. My 2 year olds feet were black after letting her walk in the room barefoot for an hour. I will never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Just barely ok
mpm6228on 07/06/2017 01:56The best part is that the lobby had a lot of space for our family to sit around and visit. Also the front desk personnel were friendly and tried to be helpful. The room temperature control was good.
Otherwise: bedding is suboptimal, there was a major leak from toilet that cleaning people admitted they noticed before we came but didn't bother to report, cleaning is very cursory really not sufficient and the non smoking room smelled of smoke. Toilet leak meant first night we couldn't use toilet--it was fixed promptly when reported to front desk in the morning. Did not try breakfast based on family member recommendation. Coffee was awful. Location is large road that is basically one long ugly strip mall. Parking lot has weirdly placed frequent speed bumps. If cost is your main issue and you have low expectations it might be ok for you.
Great hotel in a small town
Y6700YNrichardbon 05/06/2017 12:06Hotel was great, as usual. Pool needs to be open later. We stay here every time we come to Sedalia with zero issues. We will be back.
Speed bumps are a little harsh on your suspension, go slow.
Attached Mexican restaraunt closed sadly. They have another location on 65.
Terrible hotel
LivestockTraveleron 05/06/2017 04:24We had to switch rooms because of a sink leak when we arrived, not only that but i couldn't understand the staff and a friend who arrived the same day was told that their room was already booked when their room was reserved two months in advance! I was very unhappy and we will not be back, ever.
Better than expected
prlsnapson 02/06/2017 14:36The hotel was better than I expected. It's dated but the room appeared very clean. I've stayed at the Best Western in town before but there was a big difference between rates this time so I stayed here and I'm glad I saved the money because it's very comparable to the best western. I would say the breakfast is not as good here, but it's free.
