jdubn0ffon 02/04/2017 20:20Economical, clean, but dated and shabby. Friendly service. Quiet, comfortable for sleeping although on a busy street just off highway with easy on/off access. Easy to find. Welcoming to pets. Near college.
clean room at a great price, staff are reasonable
interstatemikeon 24/09/2016 04:153 adults in a sizable room with 2 double beds for $85 best price encountered from bangor to portland. no noise, no smells, just a basic room with cable, wifi. also stayed at vacationland inn bar harbor, howard johnson waterville. inn at waterville rates slightly better than the other two despite no flat screen tv. room had better air circulation.
Hot water in the shower did not work!
Scott Son 29/05/2016 21:41NO iron & ironing board, broken curtains, NO cable TV. All this place had was WiFi, a coffee pot and a fridge. Very old. Slight odor. Turned the air conditioner on and filter pieces were blowing out onto the bathroom sink and counter area. The hot water fixture in the shower was stripped (broken), so the front desk opened the adjoining room door so we could shower in the other room's bathroom. Would not recommend this motel.
Disabled People with Service Animals DISCRIMINATED AGAINST
GinA Gon 14/05/2016 17:18Although the hotel manager, Beena, received true medical certification for my service animals, she EXPRESSLY DEMANDED that my 2 service animals (cats) STAY BEHIND CLOSED DOORS AT ALL TIMES because Beena is TERRIFIED OF ALL ANIMALS. Beena expressly told me that my service animals are PROHIBITED FROM LEAVING MY HOTEL ROOM AT ANY TIME because of Beena's irrational personal fear of all animals.
Beena and the housekeepers leave "staff only" doors to laundry rooms wide open all day (and all night) which allowed my service animals to explore through those rooms and get locked inside because the hotel staff did not look for them before closing the door.
At this moment, one of my service animals is still missing and Beena has PROHIBITED me from searching for him in the hotel's numerous laundry rooms. A formal complaint has been filed with the Maine AG's office about the Inn at Waterville's discriminatory illegal business practices.
Poor Customer Service
Timothy Mon 17/08/2015 15:46Yes I had my son stay there and as this was at the end of June after his stay there I paid for it by credit card then about a few days later he needed a couple more days to stay there so we did the same thing and charge my card and I thought everything was done then I realize that my account was empty in the middle of August found out Econo Lodge took out $409 and then also put a hold on $280 call them to find out what was going on found out they had poor desk attendance and my card wasn't charged back in June so they charged it in the middle of august without telling me so then put a hold on more money that they weren't entitled to call them back to find out what was going on she said she would look into it and get back to me once again never did I guess I don't want to do business with a place like this as they don't want to keep up on things and let you know what's going on I suggest if anybody does any business there to make sure they keep your receipts in hand so this way they don't try to do this to you as well I just thank God I had mine
