Not a hotel
CasaJoya1on 24/10/2012 10:54So tired needs a total revamp, just driving up to it was depressing. Owner was friendly rooms dingy and open plan bedroom/toilet noisy could hear the other guest snoring next door. Light coming in through the badly fitting doors. Smells very early in the morning that I presumed could be breakfast wafting in through the gaps in the door. Ideal as a youth hostel use some of the rooms as shared bathroom. Not a place to go if you want to relax. More like a get in take a sleeping tablet get up at dawn and leave. Have beautiful gardens that are just neglected

The service overall was wonderful - very homely & friendly, the hosts directed us to a great little beach and went out of their way to translate instructions & print a map for us. The sheets were clean & room was overall clean. Room wasn't large, but you can live with this for a night or two.
The only down-side was the location. If you don't have a car this is NOT the place for you. With a car - if you have the general directions that will lead you within about 3-5kms of this place, the rest is signposted for you. Check the directions VERY carefully as we had some issues getting to this place using the maps.google.com directions - go towards Marseilles using the highways first!
