family holiday
Bridget Son 08/09/2015 14:39this was a lovely area and the staff were friendly and helpful but I was shocked to be charged for sheets and towels. I booked at the last minute as we travelling and decided to stay 2 days my children loved it.
Will never return
Muriel91120on 30/08/2013 22:20We stayed in the residence attached to the hotel for 12 nights 4 adults in a residence to take 6. When we go to France we love the fresh food and love to eat it in.Tiny 2 ring cooker with a small microwave/oven. Our room had a balcony looking out of a busy road which was not ideal and very noisy. On arrival you are handed bed linen and towels to make up own beds maybe this is normal in France but arriving late at night on a Sunday due to flights and having to make up room not ideal. And with no shops open there was not even a loo roll. The room had a futon in one room for 2 people with a sliding door leading in to main bedroom so no privacy and other 2 beds where the pull out beds. When we made up the Futon and pulled it out there was a large amount of fluff and dust under it. Also, under the double bed. At that hour of the night I did not want to report it so just cleaned it. On checkout I just mentioned it to let them know and the receptionist was quite irate and said there was nothing she could do about it and when I said I was only mentioning it to let them know she turned her back on me.Pool area quite tired looking and steps leading in to pool loose and unsteady
Excellent short break
Barbara Gon 15/09/2012 21:07We returned from a very enjoyable 5 night break yesterday.
On arrival a little disappointed to find we did not have a balcony/terrace as requested (but not promised).
However this was quickly forgotten as our hotel room / bathroom was probably the best we have ever encountered in France - modern, well furnished, flat screen TV, quality bedding etc plus a beautifully equipped bathroom. Fluffy bath sheet towels would have made it even better.
Location wise - a 10 minute level walk onto the main promenade; slightly more to the beach but currently mainly free parking if walking was a problem as we had dropped into low season.
Breakfast was excellent as mentioned by previous guests - a good choice of fresh breads, croissants, cheese, yogurts, preserves and much more.
A large outdoor swimming pool, immaculately clean with plenty of loungers, tables and chairs around (bearing in mind that the hotel was very quiet so unable to comment for high season occupancy) in an attractive setting.
Smaller indoor pool at 29 degrees; again excellent water clarity.
We would definitely return in the future.
Clean enough, but no bar. Not impressed
carolevegason 22/08/2012 21:38Allocated parking, Good size room clean room with bunk beds for kids. Air con good. Disappointed with overall hotel as no ordinary hotel facilities such as bar or restaurant. Outside pool ok but area around it was very small, inside pool looked very murky whether this was dirt or over use of chemicals I'm not sure. Never thought a 3 star hotel wouldn't have a bar but was pretty shocked when all they could offer was a fridge of overpriced soft drinks. Breakfast was actually ok with a good selection of cheeses, fresh croissants etc. About 10-15 mins walk to bars and restaurants in harbour and another 5-10mins to beach. Overall a bit to basic for our tastes and really wouldn't recommend especially at the rates charged.
