What People are saying

Sensational place to stay. Gorgeous rooms & lovely family run place.

Gorgeous room, great spot. A lovely, sweet family run thus place and the mother cooks all the meals. We had an amazing dinner for only 20 Turkish lira each that was better than any restaurant meal. Small village which is great to walk around at sunset to take pics. Cool little place perfect for a 1 night stay. Breakfast was yum, bed comfy, very clean and would highly recommend.

What a treat that our tour put us up here!

It was the middle of winter and the snow was falling. What luck to stay in this hotel. The owner is just the loveliest man and we'd want nothing more than to see his business go from strength to strength. Forget the big, commercial hotels. This is 100 times better. The personalised service makes such a difference. We ate breakfast and dinner in the cosy dining room and it felt like being hosted by family. (Even the TV was on - but they happily switched it off when we asked.)

The rooms are lovely - especially the 4-post double (queen?) bed - built right into the rock.

Fantastic quaint resort with a great host

Tucked away in Urgup, Al Puente offers easy access but is yet away from the town to offer peace and solitude. We spent three days here and it's been just fantastic. Ozan is a great host who made sure all our requests were met. Being a tourist guide also, he helped prepare our itinerary and ensured that it was all smooth.

Despite being a boutique resort, you still get a homely feel as Ozan and his Mother themselves cook as per the specific needs of the guests, a big aha when one is tired of restaurant food and earns for authentic homemade Turkish food.

We stayed in the duplex villa, which is great for families with kids as the kids had a room to themselves. More space to rest. The rooms were very comfortable, well equipped and well heated even when the temperature outside dipped to 1 C.

Excellent choice

After reading many reviews about the area, we decided to pick a less touristy spot. This was the best decision.

El Puente is in a little local village, where you still see locals working lands. You get a true unspoilt by touristic crazyness feel. Super relaxed and quiet.

The rooms are big and spacious. Bathrooms super.

We would definitely recommend renting a car. This village is close enough to all major sites to explore. Very central.

Staff are super friendly and serve a great breakfast. The garden is tranquil and great place to enjoy breakfast or dinner.

We opted to have dinner at the hotel one night, TL35.00 per person. Food was fresh, well prepared and delicious.

You won´t regret it!

The entire Cappadocia area is on it´s way up as a tourist destination. El Puente Cave Hotel is located 7 km from Göreme, the center of the area, in the small, very traditional village of Ibrahimpasa, where tourism is still to come. The hotel is small, 15-20 rooms. The building is modern, and some of the rooms are stone caves. Top notch bathrooms, good beds, nothing to complain about. But remember that cave rooms have no windows, and might be somewhat moist. The service can be characterized as being something between a personal home and a typical hotel as you know it. The hotel manager, Ozan, does his best to help, whatever your need or problem.
